Ok, can you match Disney songs to RA characters and tell, when in books, they could sing it? I think, that Will could sing "I'm Still Here" about his relationship with Halt in the first book and "Always Know Where You Are" in the end of book 7 about his friends (especially about Halt, because Parental!Halt & Will is my life)

I feel guilty since had this in my asks for so long but unfortunately I didn't grow up watching Disney and I've never really caught up so, anyone who wants to, go for it!

Did anyone listen to the audiobooks (read by John Keating) where Gilan has a Scottish accent? It came as a surprise to me at first (I had read the books the first time through and was listening on the reread) but I think it adds another layer to his dialogue. Thoughts?

Oh wow! I've never listened to the audiobooks (don't have the patience for any) but I do like the idea of a Scottish Gilan. Fits right in with his character in my opinion

Imagine how many times he tried to adopt pets while he was living with Halt. He shows up after hunting down bandits and “please Halt she’s adorable we can even keep her in the barn because cats hunt mice right” Or Will shows up after patrolling the fief and “I know rangers don’t have dogs but loOK AT THIS ADORABLE FACE HOW CAN YOU SAY NO”

And then Will shows up at the gathering grounds with Shadow and Halt’s just like “for fuCKS SAKE why am I not surprised”

Okay, but like at first I didn’t believe you, like I know he got the dog, but I was like there’s no way that’s the first thing he did, but yep. I was rereading Sorcerer of the North (because it’s my favorite) and the first chapter is entirely dedicated to Will finding, caring for, and adopting a dog.
