On rainy days like this, it's good to remember sunnier days in Cornwall. This is a picture of the Minack Theatre and Porthcurno beach shining in the summer sun. No matter what the season, there are always waves of some shape or form to be seen in Cornwall. At this time of year, we'd expect to see ranging white water crashing onto Cornish beaches. But you do sometimes find clean, calming waves to brighten a cliff-top walk.

Even in the middle of winter, the Cornish coast can display beautifully colourful skies. it's well worth getting up early sometimes to see the magical colours.
