hi it’s cornbread… i’d like some of your food please.

hello anyone still hanging around wondering about mister cornbread here.. big changes going on in this guy’s life. over the past year cornbread had gone from his husky self to a happy healthily sized cat and eventually to being underweight and extremely low energy :-( after several tests & trips to the vet it was determined that cornbread is diabetic and required insulin. after starting insulin and having a rough transition to a new environment, poor baby got his first ever upper respiratory infection. this guy’s had a tough couple of months, but now his cold has cleared, he is on a regular schedule receiving insulin and is steadily gaining weight! .. and still consistently begging for food.. here are a few moments of cornbread over these few challenging months when he wasn’t looking as ill, i’ll spare y’all from seeing him like that :’( hopefully only good news to come and more photos of a good-as-new mister cornbread!
