Salvador Dali’s paintings were commissioned to illustrate an exclusive edition of Alice in Wonderland. His series was a rare collection from the 1960′s. His shapes are abstract and organic depicting many scenes from the movie. I like the way he uses the colors to bleed and blend together to create the shapes of the mushroom and the caterpillar. he also uses it in the background too. 

This photograph by Christopher Jobson is part of a series called Misshapen Glass Vase. These vases are melted to fit on top of a unique shaped stone.The project was Studio E.O exploring the relationship between geometric and organic forms. I think the photo is very interesting because it looks like the vases are sitting or lounging on the stone. 

Laura Glabman lives in New York has many series as a photographer. This one with the giraffe is from her series Neighborhood Investigations. Her series is interesting because they are landscaped of the presence of animals placed in suburban areas. She has never meet the owner of this house so she is still unsure as to why these people have this giraffe in their front lawn. I like how she named her series investigation as this giraffe looks like he could be looking at something that is inside that tree. 

Kate Clark has a very interesting style on her sculptures that she photographs. Her sculptures are wild animals that are taxidermy with a human like face on them. It reminds me of the movie Avartar.
