Are you excited about the new content for your game Leif?
The moth looks over and hums a bit in thought, "yes we can say with certainty that we are in fact excited. It all looks rather fun indeed."
"As long as you are safe, all is fine, Leif."
Kabbu smiled in reassurance. Leif was safe, Chompy was safe, even Zasp was safe. No harm done then, but goodness, did it give him a scare at the time. He did give Vi another look, a quiet sigh coming from him. While it had been more than frustrating back then, there was no need to bring it up now.
"Vi..."
"No, I get it. Sorry for being stupid, okay?"
It came out a little more hostile than Zasp intended, but it couldn't be helped. He couldn't blame any of them for holding it against him, but it wasn't like he didn't regret it. He gave Leif a glance, his antennae lowering a little, before his gaze turned to the side. Kabbu, while not as perceptive, could even feel the tense air that had settled, and hummed quietly in thought. He was coming to realize that the wasp seemed very...on edge. He wondered if he could alter the unsteady terms they were on. Zasp was a good bug, of course he was. If he weren't, he wouldn't have saved Leif, and Leif wouldn't be friends with him now.
After a brief pondering, Kabbu stepped closer and held a hand out to the wasp with a far too friendly smile. The initial flinch he gets in return doesn't go unnoticed.
"All is forgiven, Zasp. It's in the past. Besides, any friend of Leif's is a friend of our's."
Zasp had scolded himself for the involuntary jerk as he moved slightly closer to Leif at first, staring between the beetle and his hand as he tried to process exactly what was being said to him. His nerves drifted into confusion, because why on earth would Kabbu forgive him? Maybe he really was too nice. Then again, why did Leif forgive him? That sounded even more absurd, but here they were. He was quiet for a moment as he tried to figure out what the hell to say, and the scarab merely looked at him patiently. Raising a hand hesitantly, he grasped Kabbu's own who returned it with a reassuring shake and a brighter smile. He really was forgiving, and Zasp feels himself calm, just a little.
The moth's antenna do flatten a bit in his own irritation at the bee's bluntness before he looks to Zasp in shock at what he says. Immediately he wanted to object that the other wasn't stupid but he had to admit that some of the actions he'd done with Mothiva were in fact not well thought out. He frowns at how utterly dejected the wasp looks now and he gives a small glare to Vi.
Vi for her own part immediately felt bad and regretted her choice of words, "hey... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to word it that way. But it's in the past now and if Leif thinks you're a good friend then I'll forgive too. Want to start over fresh?"
Leif is surprised by how the bee apologized and offered to just begin anew. That was a big deal for the stubborn bug to do after all and he could appreciate that. Deciding to not put too much attention on that he instead notices how his friend had moved towards him when Kabbu outstretches his hand in friendship. It both saddened and honored the moth in equal measures since while he felt a bit threatened, Zasp felt safe enough with him to seek protection from him.
Once the handshake is done Leif reaches up to gently pat the wasp on the shoulder, trying to replicate when they were holding hands earlier to help soothe the wasp's nerves. "Congratulations, you've gotten new friends today." He couldn't help but smile to the wasp, trying to comfort and support the other bug the best he could.
Kabbu does at least relax knowing that all three of them were okay. Venus knows what he would've done if something had happened to Leif again. He takes a short look around the area, actually registering where they were for the first time, before looking back with a nod.
"I see. I am sorry if we disturbed that. But...if you can, please leave a note of where you're off to next time."
He offers a nervous smile, because of course he can't help but worry. He does shoot Vi a look when she speaks, though at the same time it's something he's curious about as well. While even he had a firm dislike for Mothiva, he never saw a reason to feel the same for Zasp, aside from pure association. Something he didn't see as fair.
"Didn't think I ever expressed that. Mothiva's feelings ain't mine."
The wasp says it bluntly and despite his cold gaze, he's more than a little uncomfortable. His wings and antennae twitch nervously, but he's doing his best to hide it. The last thing he wants is for these two to see him that vulnerable. Which was why he gave Leif an appreciative glance when he didn't mention the state he'd been found in. Kabbu, thankfully, wasn't one to press and he seemed pleased with that answer.
"Oh, that's wonderful! I'm glad you two get along so well."
Now if only Mothiva was that pleasant.
Leif is glad that his friend seems to relax upon knowing that they safe. He knew the beetle was one to over worry about things and he really should have left a note but... He couldn't help but feel time was of the essence before. Hearing the request for giving a note before he just vanishes causes the moth to chuckle a bit before nodding.
"It is fine, we suppose it is our fault for neglecting to leave a note saying we would be out. We're sorry for concerning you both."
The moth then turns to Vi with a disapproving look at her rather blunt assumption. That was incredibly rude to lump the wasp in with the diva when they were very separate bugs. Vi to her own credit does look a bit guilty when she gets those looks from her teammates and that answer from Zasp. Okay so she was in the wrong here.
"Sorry, it's just, ya did kind of attack us for no good reason when we were trying to save the kingdom. Makes it hard to guess what's going on you know?"
Leif merely sighs at the bluntness of the bee before catching those nervous ticks of Zasp and he can't quite help the feeling of irritation that flared up. He'd spent so long calming the wasp down and while he loved his teammates he was upset that they'd ruined all that hard work. It was something that he didn't quite understand or expect to feel actually. However he decides to ponder on this strangeness later.
"Indeed, we are glad that we could become friends. We have quite a bit in common."
He smiles to the wasp and tries to give him a comforting look. Honestly, if he didn't think that it would upset Zasp he would hold his hand again to try and soothe his nerves again.
Hearing that, surprisingly, is reassuring. Knowing that he wasn't just being a bother and Leif really was comfortable. It was quiet, but Zasp responds with a light purr and wills himself to relax against the moth. The cool temperature and the comfort really was tempting him to at least doze off for a few minutes. He was considering it. It was safe, quiet, and Leif wouldn't let anything happen. That idea didn't last too long though.
The wasp nearly jumped out of his shell at the sudden shout, immediately snapping into awareness and sitting upright as a jolt of anxiety shot through him. He guessed he wouldn't have been allowed to relax for long. Seeing Vi come into view, he only shoots her a glare. If anything it's to cover up the sudden nervousness gripping at him. And of course, Kabbu was not far behind.
"Leif?!"
The beetle was panting when he caught up to Vi, and a look of panic became relief when he saw Leif seeming just fine. While he breathes a sigh, the clear worry is certainly still there.
"Thank Venus, are you alright, Leif? You gave me a scare when I couldn't find you and Chompy. I thought..."
He trails off once his tunnel vision clears and he finally takes notice of Zasp, who appeared to be looking less than pleased at him.
"O-oh, my apologies. Are you alright too, Zasp?"
The wasp in question merely stared shortly, before huffing and looking away. Hesitantly, he slips his hand away from Leif's and instead holds onto his notebook.
"I'm fine."
A shot of anxiety had gone through the moth at first, free hand forming a shard of ice at first before he realized exactly who that voice belonged to. He wanted, no, needed to protect Zasp from the perceived threat at first before he realized there actually was no dinner. The ice disappears from his hand as the anxiety is replaced by annoyance. While he dearly loved his team, it was slightly irritating they chose now to appear after he finally got the wasp to relax fully.
"Yes, we are here and we are fine... Sorry to have concerned you both. We thought it would be nice to enjoy the day in the only quiet spot we knew of."
Leif withholds his sigh and instead gives the anxious beetle a smile that barely faltered when he felt Zasp stop holding his hand. Well, that was more disappointing than he thought it would be. Vi, sometimes more perceptive than she appeared did notice the pair holding hands before they separated though for once she kept quiet on that observation. "So why're you here with Zasp then? Thought you guys could stand our team?"
The moth maintains his neutral facial expression but he does twitch an antenna at that. It wasn't like Zasp ever really disliked their team... It was mostly just Mothiva and him going along with her until recently.
"We have been friends for some time now and happened to meet up near the square when we both had the idea to find a quiet place to enjoy the day."

He is exhausted, that's something he'd rather disregard along with everything else. He really does feel unwell now that he's calmed down, but he's not about to let Leif know about that. He was just tired, that's all the moth needed to know. Nothing else was important.
At least, not to him. Hearing the other say that only brings a new bout of confusion, because he can't understand why he's this important to Leif. Leif, of all bugs. His antennae lower a little and he hums in uncertainty as he takes one more scan over his notes, before closing the book again.
"I'm not... I mean... I'm fine now, really. You don't gotta stay here just for me."
Despite saying that, there was a part of him that really wanted to stay with Leif. Of course though, he didn't want the moth's team to worry either. Especially knowing how Kabbu was.
It was obvious to Leif that his friend was just so exhausted. He was hoping that his temperature being so cold would help soothe the other into a nap but it seemed the wasp's stubbornness was too strong. A shame since he wanted to help the other bug feel better. The moth withheld his huff to keep from upsetting Zasp and making him think there's something wrong.
Then he hears that and his metaphorical heart hurts at hearing that. It was kind of obvious that the wasp wanted him to stay there with him and he found himself wanting to stay. Of course he knew that he would eventually have to leave but he wanted to stay as long as he could.
"Zasp, we promise that we do not mind staying here with you. Besides, it is nice to spend time with you here in the quiet... It's refreshing."
The moth smiles softly, settling to get more comfortable, and he looks completely relaxed... At least until there's a sudden high pitched shout from nearby, making his antenna stand on end, "LEIF!! WHERE ARE YOU?!" It wasn't too far away but it did sound like it was getting closer. Soon enough there was a bee running into the clearing, "There you are! Why'd you run off before?"
Zasp glances over, just to make sure the other didn't mind the action. It worried him that maybe he's being too forward, or overstepping boundaries he hadn't noticed, but Leif seemed surprisingly alright with the contact. That got him to calm just a bit, and he decided to silently listen as the moth hummed while he skimmed through the important pages of his notebook, half written in an Eastern language, and the rest in poor Bugnish. Thankfully, or worryingly, he was much lighter than he appeared, so not much difference was made as he relaxed against Leif's side.
It was only for a moment that he let his eyes close, just so he could focus and calm down. He hated it, how easily he could worry about just about everything. It was an exhausting thing. He couldn't even pin why he wanted to work so hard. He didn't, but he felt like he had to. To prove something, perhaps. But what was he really proving by tearing himself apart? The problem was that he didn't know how to stop. Because he simply felt like he had to do all this, even if it never benefitted him.
Another nagging thought came into his head, and he opened his eyes again, somehow looking more exhausted than before. He's going to blame the cold. And maybe the lack of sleep. He tore his attention from his thoughts and the notebook resting in his hand to look over at Leif with a tired concern.
"I'm not...keeping you, am I? Won't Kabbu and Vi be wondering where you are?"
The moth doesn't catch the glance, focused more on humming and looking at their surroundings. He wanted to ensure that Zasp felt comfortable enough to relax, if he could. Being curious the moth did peek over at what the other bug had written in that notebook and merely stared at it without comprehending anything written. Well safe the Bugnish once he figured out that's what some of it was. However he couldn't recognize the other language since it wasn't Roach or Bugnish. Perhaps a clue to Zasp's homeland? Taking a mental note on that he looks away from the book and does finally notice how light the other bug was and grew concerned. Was he not eating properly?
Leif was about to ask about that when he noticed that Zasp had his eyes closed. Not wanting to spoil the bug's potential nap or even just resting. Nope that was immediately more important than his question. He held no desire to interrupt that so he kept huming quetly to show that nothing was wrong or different. That was until the wasp opens his eyes to mention something and Venus does he look exhausted.
At the question though the moth has pause a moment in order to blink and consider his current situation. He had sort of dropped everything else to come here with his friend in need. And with Chompy... Sure, he's run off randomly before but ever to this secret location.
"They may be wondering but it is fine. We are sure they will understand our desire to ensure our friend is doing well after all. You are important to us as our friend, just like Kabbu and Vi."
Zasp sighs inwardly, his thoughts are starting to get out of his control again. Much as he wants to relax, it's still difficult to. Despite the quiet surroundings, and having the company of both a comforting moth and plant, it's hard to focus on anything but his thoughts. At least he wasn't alone, for right now. He'd have to leave eventually though.
"I guess I wouldn't be surprised, with how much that guy works."
Now, that was a hypocritical comment, and he's aware of that. He can't possibly work as much as Maki did though. He still felt he didn't work enough, actually. He can't stop the urge to grab the notebook at his side again with his free hand and open it to check what he needed to do within the coming weeks. Mainly, it was the performance at the Termite Kingdom that bothered him, far more than he wishes it did. At least he would be there with Mothiva, but it was getting harder to tolerate the termites' open disdain.
Whether it be an absent-minded action or to seek comfort, Zasp very lightly leans against the moth's side, even despite the cold. He finds that he doesn't mind it too much.
Leif couldn't really hear the sigh so much as see the rise and fall of the other's chest. It seemed to him that Zasp was beginning to stress again and he didn't know how to fix this dilemma easily either. Actually he'd really done all he could in this moment to help the bug to forget everything for a while and just relax. It would be helpful if the wasp would just take a nap but he knew the other was too stubborn to do so.
The moth nods in return to was Zasp says, pondering whether or not it should help him out or not. Maki did seem to have a lot going on in his life just based off his ranking and sister's nagging. Leif also decided to not poke fun at the fact that Zasp also had a habit of working far too much. In fact, he doesn't even comment on how the wasp grabs the notebook to check it again. Surely he had that thing memorized but he didn't want the other to feel insecure about the habit. Hopefully the other wouldn't mind that he would be accompanying him to the Termite Kingdom coming up soon.
He's drawn from his thoughts by the light weight resting against his side from where Zasp was leaning against him. Leif doesn't mind at all and merely continues to hum contently. What a strange turn this day has had to end up here with him so close to the wasp, still holding his hand and now leaning against him.
A lot of things still bother him in the back of his mind, as much as he tries to ignore them. A lot of things he doesn't want to worry about or doesn't think he should worry about. He should be getting to work soon, but Venus knows he doesn't want to. How long have they been here anyway? It was hard to tell the time of day from here. He still didn't feel ready to leave and feel the judgemental eyes of other bugs on him. He wanted to stay with Leif. That thought in itself was odd and confusing. Maybe he's overthinking things, he always does. He wonders if Leif is getting tired of him, surely he has things to do too. So why isn't he leaving?
He's tired though, too tired to properly obsess over all those thoughts right now, and he's starting to think Leif is getting closer with that idea in mind. It wasn't any secret that wasps grew tired with the cold, the moth knew that especially. Even so, he doesn't find it in him to move. That's not to say Leif is going to get him to sleep that easily.
The wasp simply shrugs, his tired gaze drifting across the surroundings just to have something to focus on.
"Couldn't tell ya why. I know he's a mantis, but still. Mothiva had a fit about it too when we first joined."
The moth discreetly looks over to Zasp as he seems to be lost in thought. He couldn't help but worry over the other. What could he do to help convince the wasp to just rest for now. He could tell that he was having a small struggle between his duties and relaxing. Thankfully it seemed to be that relaxing still was winning which is good. Zasp deserves to relax as long as possible. He was also grateful that the other bug wasn't upset with him scooting closer too. It was probably obvious what his goal was with that proximity change too, so he was extra grateful.
The moth hums softly in thought before giving a little chuckle, "that doesn't surprise us actually. We wonder if he does this to test our resolve but also to release pent up stress... Either way, we are glad to have missed this event."
Leif then begins to softly hum, adjusting himself to be more comfortable while leaning against the flowers behind them. It was so comfortable to just be near the wasp and relaxing in the shade of the flowers.
Zasp only offers an innocent look with a slight tilt of his head. Of course he would never abandon Leif, even in such a situation as dealing with that short stack of a bee. No, he would protect this moth with his life, so he would never get hurt like that again. That was a guilt he couldn't shake even now. He should've been faster. At least he still saved Leif. As...unprepared as he was for what he'd seen. Leif was no normal moth, but that's something he's keeping to himself, for the other's sake.
He might be tired, but he does take notice of Leif moving just a bit closer, and he can't help but glance away somewhat shyly. He does not, however, object or move away. He doesn't think he's ever, comfortably, been this close to another bug that wasn't Mothiva. Confusing as all this was, it was nice. Despite the chill.
"Maki likes beating down the newcomers and calls it 'testing them.' I think he just uses it as an excuse to fight someone. Kabbu wasn't too happy about that."
Leif could only give a brief accusing look to the wasp before it melted into a smile and soft laugh. Such a silly conversation this was but he was thoroughly enjoying it. He was also completely unaware that the other bug was musing on the moth's... weirdness. After all, he didn't know if the other bug had actually seen his true self or not given how he'd been busy being stabbed.
The moth notices that shy glance and it just makes him smile more. It was so cute how the other bug could be just so shy and sweet. He mentally shakes his head at how he was subconsciously trying to draw conclusions on their relationship. They were friends. Good friends but friends none the less. He needed to keep this in mind so he wouldn't accidentally scare the other bug off.
"Oh this we can visualize quite well. Kabbu is such a strong and kind bug with a strong sense of justice. He can't really excuse random acts of violence with no cause... Strange that Maki seeks fights in this manner."

Pride Leif for your viewing pleasure <3 Hope you all had a wonderful Pride month! <3
"Oh no, I said I'd be your bodyguard, but if it comes to that then I'm ditching you."
He hardly means it, but he looks smug while he says it regardless. It does remind him though that yes, he did promise he'd protect Leif. He was Mothiva's bodyguard, of course, but that didn't mean he couldn't be Leif's too. The thought of the other getting hurt again just made his chest hurt. He wouldn't allow that again.
A softer chuckle leaves him, he seems like he's relaxing easier. Maybe that's just the chill traveling up his arm, but he didn't mind much. He was tired even without the lower temperature from the moth, but he'd much rather not just up and take a nap. Not when he...had work to do.
"I'll mess with a lot of bugs, but he's one I'm not crossing again. You shoulda seen how furious he got at Maki when him and Vi first came to the association."
Leif attempts to pout towards the wasp when he says he'd be ditched, "oh poof us, we shall perish at the hands of a small, feral bee while our friend leaves us."
Naturally he didn't mean it either and it's apparent when he chuckles shortly after he finishes his quip. He knew that the wasp wouldn't dare let him get hurt actually. Zasp was a kind and protective bug after all and it was apparent that he still had quite a strong guilt over when he'd been shanked by that scorpion. It was sad really because it wasn't his fault that he'd been hurt, it was his own for not being diligent.
Thankfully Zasp's chuckle draws him back from those thoughts and he smiles in turn. It was apparent that the poor wasp was exhausted but he knew that the other bug wouldn't sleep give in to a nap so easily. Perhaps he could convince him to take a bit of a nap, just long enough to recover a bit of energy. Though that plan is put on pause when he hears about Kabbu from before they met.
"Oh was he now? That is actually something we would have liked to see. We so rarely see him do anything like that so it would be interesting to see needless to say." Leif gives a little chuckle before shifting to get more comfortable, and move slightly closer to Zasp. He wasn't quite touching the wasp but he was fairly close.
Gift artwork I did for @blindsidedloyalty! I wanted to draw our muses based off of an earlier rp where they're on one of their walks through the Ant Kingdom, talking about what to get for lunch :)
**Please do not repost my art without my permission!**
Thinking about it, the wasp doesn't know when he last really slept. Decently, at least. He doesn't know when he last ate either, but the idea still repulsed him. He didn't really know how he could help that, and that wasn't exactly something he felt like he should bother Leif with. He's worried the other enough as it were. He was tired though, and sure, the light chill from the moth wasn't helping that, but he didn't think he could release Leif's hand quite yet. It felt...safe.
Zasp huffs at that and leans back against the flowers behind them, shifting his wings to be more comfortable as he gave Leif a half-hearted glare.
"After all I've done for you? You just wanna see me get mauled by a half pint."
Of course he's not serious, if the barely held back smile in his voice is anything to go by. His free hand absent-mindedly rests on the worn notebook sitting beside him. How he's resisting the urge to look through it again, make sure he has everything down for about the hundredth time, then proceed to stress about what he has to do. As though he still isn't stressed enough in the back of his mind.
Leif watches the other lean back against the flowers and that playful glare the wasp directs towards him. He can't help but chuckle softly at the quip and he gives a mock pout in return.
"Well we certainly don't want to be mauled alone. Vi can be very scary when she wants to be."
It was only a half lie, he doubted the bee could ever actually intimidate him now that he's so used to her antics. Perhaps once upon a time when they were first getting used to one another as a team but even then the chances were slim. She was simply too small and cute to him. Though thinking about his team causes him to worry quietly. They would eventually be back at the house and likely wondering where he went. After all, he never told them about this spot and he normally wasn't one to vanish with no warning but at the same time he didn't want to leave. Zasp still needed this time to calm down and rest and by Venus he would make sure he did.
"We could always attempt to give the shock candy to Kabbu as well, though that would likely end in being lectured to. Hm... No, Vi would be the better victim."
Besides, he doubted he could actually prank the beetle genuinely given just how kind the other was.
"If you say so."
It's not said to be rude, of course. He doesn't know Kabbu the way Leif does, so he can do no more than take his word for it. He's hardly even spoken to the beetle after everything settled down, and that felt so long ago now that he thought about it. But...he wasn't sure if Kabbu even would want to speak to him.
Then again, he never thought Leif would ever even want to look at him, and here they were. It was more surprising how comfortable he's gotten with the moth, to be so close. Leif was cold, sure, but it wasn't much of a bother. Though it was starting to make his exhaustion just a little more obvious, ignore it as he may. He did smile at how the other lit up at his idea. He couldn't help but think it was cute.
"I've got a stash of it if you need it. You gotta tell me how it goes. Just don't say I was involved or she'll probably come and bite me."
The moth nods, knowing that Zasp couldn't really know any better than himself how the beetle acted. They'd only really interacted a few times after all and most of it wasn't in the positive light. Hell, he was grateful that Kabbu seemed to have moved past allt hat for the most part, especially when Zasp had needed help that one time in the past when he'd been so sick. It just wasn't the beetle's nature to be hateful. At least, not against light offenses. He barely suppressed the shudder that threatened to run through him at the memory of encountering the Beast just for Kabbu's need of revenge. Good thing that history had not repeated itself.
Putting that aside Leif did seem to notice how the wasp was looking more tired than before. Ah, likely a result of his cool temperature affecting the other bug. Most wasps tended to get more drowsy in the cold and he recalled that happening to Zasp in the winter. At least he didn't look that tired yet but he wouldn't be surprised if the wasp did drift off eventually. Nor would he be offended since it was obvious that Zasp needed the rest. However that wasn't what he focused on for long as he chuckles at what the other bug says.
"Oh then of course we'll be telling her whose stash it is, but we will not say it was your idea. That should spare you from her wrath... for the most part." It was a joke of course, he wouldn't actually get Zasp in trouble with Vi. He wasn't that cruel.

"Aw, he's no fun."
The beetle was one to be very avoident of conflict, but that never did stop Zasp. It was harmless fun anyway. His antennae lift a little as he watches Leif think, something he can't help but do right then. It's still hard to believe, that this moth cared so much as to actually stay with him like this when he needed someone. It was odd, to feel wanted. The only other bug that had ever enjoyed his presence was Mothiva, and at this point it felt like it was because there was something wrong with him. Perhaps just because he was a wasp, or maybe he was just...unlikable.
Hearing the moth's ideas, he has to chuckle. Maybe just slightly, he leans a little closer to Leif as he turns his gaze to flicker around the area.
"Spicy berries aren't that bad. Could always give her some shock candy. Those are fun."
"We would disagree. Kabbu is fun in different ways though." After all there were plenty of times the beetle would start quite a number of hilarious scenarios. Honestly, out of the team he was likely the biggest 'stick in the mud' given his usual deadpan expressions and approach to things. Well, when he wasn't being snarky anyway. Ah well, he never did think of himself as that funny anyway.
For now though he focuses on how he got the wasp to chuckle and that little bit closer proximity and smiles. He was glad that Zasp felt comfortable enough to be this close to him, especially given that they were still holding hands. He was glad that his cold temperature wasn't too much of a deterrent. Then Zasp mentions the shock candy idea and he lights up at the thought.
"Oh that would be perfect! We can see it now, her fur puffed out from the shock. We will be using this idea for certain."
Impressive it was. He hadn't known Kabbu very well, still doesn't in fact, but the beetle was overly kind. To see him absolutely lose it at Mothiva was...a bit startling, even if it got under his shell at the time. But it was deserved, Mothiva's idea was absurd and Zasp feels now that he should've objected more, but... He had his reasons. Even if they were still foolish.
He's not a bitter wasp though and he's not known to hold grudges, not when he's the one at fault, which is why it's easy to joke about now. He's only glad Leif doesn't hold anything against him either.
"Vi? All I have to do to annoy her is exist in front of her. But making fun of how short she is helps."
There's another soft laugh, and of course he doesn't mean any harm by it. He never has, even if she had been such a brat. She was...vaguely tolerable now. That didn't mean she wasn't still fun to bully though. In the nicest way possible.
The moth hums quietly in thought, remembering about how the wasp and Mothiva had gotten themselves into various amounts of trouble during that whole fiasco before. It had truly grated on his nerves when they pulled something like that and made more work for him and his teammates.
Thankfully for everyone Zasp had proven himself better than those acts had portrayed him before. Venus knows he was glad for that too.
"Oh we would do just that but Kabbu has forbidden us from mentioning such a thing around her. You aren't not under such a ban though."
Leif hums once more in thought, antenna and head cocked to one side as well. How to tease the little bee. Oh!
"Hmm, perhaps if we were to hide her stash of healing items? Or replace a few times with one of those spicy berries."
