“i pick a favorite, wear it everyday, have to wash it after i wear it, repeat until it’s basically falling off of me from overuse then buy a new one, it’s a vicious cycle.”

“Dude.. I’m gonna have to insist you switch it up at least every other day. If not for your sake, but for those who care about you.”

“i have officially worn through my last good hoodie to wear on the rink, and have no desire to get more, guess it’s time to freeze.”

“How do you wear out not one, but multiple hoodies? What all do you do?”

“Is it weird to go to a bowling alley and not bowl? I just really want bowling alley nachos.”

“It’s only weird if you do something that makes it weird.”

Sunshine hated her job. She was okay with having to get a summer job, but she hated that she chose a job that was literally stuck in the forties. She thought it would be cute and fun to work in a diner that was a replica of the diners back then, complete with the rustic booths and old school uniforms. But what wasn’t cute was the gross old men that tried to grab her ass as she walked by. 

Thankful that her nigh shift was over she quickly locked up the diner, getting in her car and driving away. She made a mental note to start looking for a different summer job, something that didn’t make her leave close to midnight and want to slap someone all at the same time. Driving down the quiet road she noticed a car at the side, and her helping instincts took over. Knowing very well it could be a murderer sitting in the car she pulled up to the side, honking the the horn lightly before rolling down her passenger side window. “Hey, you okay over there?” She called out, a smile growing on her face as she saw who it was. 

When the window rolled down Corbyn’s demeanor relaxed a little and he let out a weary sigh, smiling despite the predicament. He and Sunshine had crossed paths more than a few times over the years and while they weren’t thick as thieves, he liked her. She was kind and he knew his mother held a soft spot for her sister and sister-in-law. Most of Lima’s current population seemed to be connected in ways, and well most of them also knew that he was one of the terrifying Sue Sylvester’s hellspawn. Sunshine didn’t see him like that, though. She just.. Saw him. 

“Sorta pissed and pretty exhausted, can’t lie. Not sure what’s wrong with it.” He kicked the tire with a huff, walking the rest of the way over to her car so that he could lean and prop where the window was rolled down. “Normally wouldn’t beg but like.. Can I get a ride? Mom’s off being chaotic or something and I don’t really have anyone else to call right now.”

Sighing, he finally pulled up safari to google the closest tow company and prayed it would be open at this time. If not, he’d just have to leave the car there and get a ride. Upon calling, his worst fear was recognized and just, fuck... Today really wasn’t his day.

“That’s sweet of you. I get it, man. Those zombies one can be killer on your anxiety and all. I remember playing a game where these dogs came out of nowhere. I nearly pissed myself.” Ricky smiled. “That’s nice of you though, to still play with her even if you don’t get into it. I think that’s me when people would watch shows I’ve never seen before.”

“I try. I draw the line when it gets to the hour mark, though. She plays by herself after that. Or I at least put in headphones or somethin’. Dude, I’m the same way with shows I just... If it’s not music, I sorta zone out.”

Props man, that’s why when I go to pick out a new one I usually go alone, or else my friends are ready to kill me.

She can’t go alone otherwise, I’d definitely send her in by herself. I’m just always the one who ends up taking her ‘cause I have way more patience than my Mom does. 

Really? That would be really cool. Tell her I promise to be extra careful with it. 

She may insist on observing you though, so there’s that.

“The Untitled Goose Game, right?”

“Yep! I’ll be real, the new game is mostly for my sanity. If I hear one more goose honk I might lose it.”

“That sounds like an exciting way to spend the day.” He told the other, although he was being a bit sarcastic. “Don’t they have like four games that are interesting? I don’t know, I’m pretty dedicated to my Playstation.”

"They’ve got a few good games, her favorite one isn’t one I mind. I always have to check them out and make sure they’re like.. Not some weird violent one. She’d freak out and throw the switch if they were zombie-related or something.” Shrugging, Corbyn slid his hands into his pockets. “I’m not much of a gamer, for real. I know about as much as she does and just play along.”

I’ve never played, but I’ve seen the plushes they came out with. They’re cute. She made a good choice. 

I think so too. I might have to snag it from her and play myself sometime. See if I like it.

“switch has more than just animal crossing?”

“I mean, it does but we happened to get animal crossing this time. Her favorite is this game where you play as a goose and fuck up everyone’s day. She just sits there and laughs for hours when she plays that one.”

I don’t know who that is but I’m very intrigued to know what she chose. 

Rob’s my big sister. She ended up choosing animal crossing and then a damn animal crossing plush of some weird raccoon to go with it.

that moment when you get to take off your ice skates, and let your feet breath only to put sneakers on, cause as badly as i want it to be summer already my feet will always be too torn up for flip flops ever again.

You could always get a pedicure or something? Some of the people at the gym look like they could swoop down on a lake and catch trouts yet they still wear sandals.
