Okay so here is the story of how I accidentally blew off a hot hot hot life guard... So the day started off a normal Wednesday, I woke up at the same time as always, got ready for practice, and went to practice. It's been a tough week at practice because coach has been preparing us for the 5k race that I haven't even registered for yet and I've been coming back sore. He made us run the course three times this week and timed us yesterday. He timed us on Monday too and told us that he wanted us to take a minute off our time on Thursday when he timed us again so that was one of the main topics we were talking about at the lazy river where I met the hot guy at because it was me and my cousin and one of my friends from Cross Country.. After practice we went back home or what ever and I showered but didn't wash my hair because I got mud all over my legs because we ran through mud, plus I stunk really badly, and my friend went to her house and did the same thing and then her sister came and dropped her off at my place and then we left for the water park.. So when we got there we met with everyone else that was supposed to go too and me and my friend and cousin left the adults and little kids. First we went to the wave pool and stayed there for ever and then we went to the lazy river where we stayed even longer because of the hot life guard.. Well we'd been there a while now and we started talking about Cross Country and what coach wanted us to do and I was telling them how I needed to get that minute off and what not and then he said something to me. Like he stopped and tried talking to me but I didn't know he was talking to me until it was too late so I just turned around and looked at him funny like what? And he was smiling down at me and kept staring at me so I just smiled back but didn't say anything to him because like what did you say?? We know he said something about my minute but we don't know for sure what he said and I can't get over it because I had the perfect opportunity to flirt with him but I didn't and like it makes me so sad cause I prob won't ever see him again 😭 ... Actually my cousin knew him from school cause she went to school in Decatur, the place we were at, and she knew him from a few years back in ROTC and told me what she thought his name was. She wasn't for sure it was him but we looked him up and it was and I followed him on IG and not even five minutes later he requested to follow back but I don't know nothings happened yet so maybe he forgot about me or something?

Okay so I'm omw back home from Michigan right? Well we've been on the road for a few hours now and the last time we ate was @ 10:00 AM and it's now 7 something and we're all hungry so we stop by at Waffle House to eat... So I'm a REALLY slow eater and I'm always the last to finish and so everyone went into their cars and my mom to the bathroom. As my dad and sister were walking out I was still sitting down trying to finish my food and I yell across the restaurant, "I'M NOT DONE EATING AND YALL CANT LEAVE WITHOUT ME!!!!!" Dad laughed and walked out anyways and there was this old man who was sitting across from me on the bar thingy who had been there since before we even got to the place and he laughs at what I said and says, "I said the same thing to my parents and I'm still waiting for them after 30 years." So I'm sitting there like 😳 oh, haha and then he's like, "you from AL?" Mind you we're still like 6 hours away from home and my first thought was that he saw our plates so I'm like, "uhh, yeah." and then he asks me, "wanna know how I know?" So I just kinda sit there and shrug and he's like, "because I'm your neighbor." And I'm thinking that this old man is delusional so I'm like, "nu-uh" and he's like "yeah, I live around the corner of that blue house." So now I'm like yo wtf bc Tony's house is blue and he lives right next to me so you can already imagine my reaction and I don't say anything so he's like, "yeah you live on Oak Street." And that's how I know this old man tweaking so I smile knowing he's wrong and he knows it too so he says, "no wait, that's not it, it's uhh..." And he tries to come up with something else and he looks at me as if I'm going to help him out but I'm not about to let this old man know where I live cause he could be a rapist or something, idk my imagination wild so I'm just smiling at him knowing damn well he's wrong and then he starts laughing or what ever like oh you got me and I'm like hells yeah man. And that's when my mom comes out the bathroom. The end 🙂🙂 ... Oh and he also said something about a Bertha and that also kind of throws me off bc I have an aunt named Bertha who comes to the house a lot so yeah it was weird. (This happened like a week ago or so but I just forgot to post it on here. Oops.)

Lol I forgot to tell y'all that I run Cross Country now. I started last week, got my physical the first day and turned it in the next so I am officially now a part of the team. I started off running three miles the first but obviously since I'm out of shape I didn't run as fast as every one else and stopped to catch my breath more times than I should, and then the next day I only ran two miles. I was going for the third but coach told me that I needed to take it easy since I was just now starting and to have patience with myself. Now today I did three miles and one without stopping which I felt really proud of myself because I can't do that, but apparently now I can and the only reason why ever even stopped wasn't to catch my breath but because my calve muscles were begging me to stop. And I didn't stop all that much either, not like the first two days. Today was literally my third day and it feels great.

Almost there. The last eight hours have been... Well, let's just say I've needed to stretch more times than I can count. My body aches. My back, my legs, it all aches but.. Almost there.

This literally just happened fifteen minutes ago. I have this tendency of wearing t-shirts and no pants on. So I walk around in my underwear a lot, which is the norm. I even go outside like that. But this time I had just come back from the gym and as soon as I came inside I took off my pants, but the shirt I was wearing wasn't like my other t-shirts, so yeah you could see my butt (underwear). And I basically live I the middle of no where, there is NEVER anyone on my street and I was playing around with my big dog. He LOVES to come inside and grab anything he sees first. Whether it be a sock, a shoe, my moms medicine, the cat. Anything basically. I was entertaining him this time, chasing him around and playing with him while he grabbed at the most random things. But then I wanted him to get out so I opened the door and stepped out onto the porch and TELL MY WHY THERE WAS AN OLD MAN ON A BIKE SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE WATCHING ME!!!!!!!!!????? I ran inside so fast and screamed a little your head would spin. Moral of the story: make sure no one is out on your street before you go outside in nothing but a tee and underwear.

I feel so shitty They're posting the list today at seven and everyone here is SO much better than me that I seriously don't think I made the team.. And you know, if I didn't, at least I know I tried.. One of the girls on the team told me she'd send me the list tonight since I won't be up here at seven.. I really hope I made the team but I just really don't know. AND I kept missing my damn shots!! I literally went home after tryouts and practiced ALL MY DANG SHOTS!!! ALL OF THEM!!! I stayed out there till freaking EIGHT PM!!! I don't understand how good I can be when I'm at home taking shots and making them, but when I get in here I freaking miss ALL of them!!!! It's PATHETIC!!!

Everyone that tried out are SO freaking good! I could not for the life of me make a freaking shot. Out of the whole time we were trying out I only made like two or three shots. You guys, I'm so worried that I won't make the team.. I'm a whole lot better at dribbling than I was last year, that's the least of my worries, but I seriously have to keep practicing on my own making shots... Right now as I'm typing the varsity girls are trying out and I'm sitting outside of the gym waiting on my mom to get here. I swear she's always late to get me it's not even funny. I always end up being the last one and everyone that keeps driving by keeps looking at me funny. I can just feel it. Y'all please wish me luck and pray for me. I REALLY want to make the team.

I'm gonna throw up. I am seriously going to freaking throw up!!! I can't eat anything or even think about food because I WILL THROW UP!!!!!! I mean I'm not nervous.. If that makes any sense. Like I don't feel giddy or like those cramps in my stomach.. IM GONNA FREAKING THROW UP BECAUSE IM SICK!!!! I swear if I miss tryouts today I AM going to break somebody's neck.. I mean, I might be a little nervous because I seriously want to make the team. There's no doubt. Tryouts are gonna be held today right after school from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM today and tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Y’all this dude in my first period seriously thought it was okay to say that to me like I would actually go anywhere with him after he said that to me. That is THE worst pick up line EVER.. Like I’m not even insecure about my hairy arms, because for one, they aren't even that hairy, and two, I just don't give a fuck. I wasn't hurt by this comment more than I was low-key offended by it... You guys need to step up your game. THIS SHIT IS NOT CUTE!!! I REPEAT, IT IS NOT CUTE!!!!! 

I didn't go to school on Friday because my dad came home on Thursday and he was supposed to leave on Sunday, which he didn't.. And I’d made plans for all weekend and I knew dad wouldn't let me go so I thought, hey, lets ditch school and have some family time on Friday too, in hopes that he would let me go on with my plans.. In the end my plans got cancelled anyways because the softball game I was gonna go to was cancelled and blue hole the next day... Well I don't know what happened there but none of the girls went except for like two, but one said it was horrible because our other friend was being a major whore and did her wrong... Anyways, that Friday afternoon we had family come over because my dad bought like a new grill or something and he wanted to try it out that same day so we made tacos. THEY WERE SO FREAKING GOOD!!!! Anyways, family came.... I went to my cousins house after everything was settled to see what she was doing and to just hang for a little while she got ready for her date night with her boyfriend.. Well while I was there my other cousin, her brother, we’re the same age except I beat him by a few months, comes in asking for my phone. I give him my phone and not two seconds later he gives it back showing me my lock screen where it showed one missed FaceTime call from my dad and a message.. A picture of my dog, the freaking German Shepherd that went missing over a month ago!!! Its so crazy because obviously I rushed over there to see what the heck was going on and he was there!! My dad said that he came by all on his own. Just walked around the house like he’d never went missing and started chilling.. I was honestly skeptical about this dog. I mean he looked like my Cooper and was the same size as him and everything, but I just didn't know about it. So I went around and laid my hand on his head. He was fine with it, and I was still kind of confused, so I brought out his brush and started brushing his fur and just like old times he leaned all his weight on me and closed his eyes while I brushed him and thats how I knew for sure it was my baby... You see, where I live, just about a bunch of people have German Shepherd, and this dog, MY dog, had been missing for like a month now, and then one day he just suddenly pops up out of no where??? Crazy right. Yeah. 

IT WAS SO COLD OMG!!!! I had SO much fun yesterday! Like, who knew softball could actually be fun? Granted I was freezing my butt off most of the time, but when I actually got out on the field I totally forgot about being cold. We were out there from the beginning of fourth period to the end of sixth period.. My homeroom class didn't have to play until like 12:30 so I basically just sat there watching the rest of the homeroom classes play against each other for hours, but I was with all of my friends so it was fun, but it really was cold. Some girls still wore Nike shorts, but I didn't, thank freakin God. So after lunch was over the next two homerooms played against each other and when they finished it was my homerooms turn to go out onto the field so we all left the bleachers and made our way to the dug out. I didn't want to be on any base because if the ball came towards me I'd probably get hit in the face so I signed up for batting. Two people actually did get hit in the head with the ball and I didn't want that to happen to me... I was really nervous okay, everyone was out there and I was afraid I'd embarrass myself. I was almost a hundred percent sure I'd strike out, BUT I DIDN'T!!!! I was shaking too.. Before my friend who was batting got done I went out there to pick a bat and got someone to show me how to hold it right, so I practiced swinging. Pretty simple.. I ended up not using that bat, I just took the one my friend was using. It was lighter.. I went out there and I swear almost everyone on the bleachers started screaming my name and cheering me on. And while I was down there I heard one of my best friends yell, "THATS MY MEXICAN!!!" It was funny. And when I got there, before I batted I was goofing off with my friends that were on the field with me. The guy behind me was all like, "oh snap, okay I see you Mexican." And I was laughing and then I was talking with the pitcher saying stuff like, "take it easy on me, I'm sensitive!" And she just laughed and was like, "okay I will." The guy behind me had to position me though cause I was standing right on the plate and I didn't know you weren't supposed to do that cause I've never played softball or anything so he had to move me back and I thanked him or what ever.. I blacked out. I don't remember anything. All I know is that I got ready to hit the ball. I positioned the bat where it was supposed to and tried to focus on nothing but the ball. At this point I couldn't hear anything. I don't even remember the pitcher throwing the ball, the only thing I remember is the sound of my bat coming in contact with the ball and me taking off to first base. I was so proud of myself. I seriously thought I'd strike out.. Sadly though, right before I got to first base someone caught the ball and I was out. But I don't even care, it was SO much fun out there.. I was also on the out field. I didn't want to be on any base so when ever I wasn't batting I was on the outfield because I knew no one would hit the ball far enough to the back and I wouldn't have to do much. So I was just back their goofing off with another one of my friends... We lost. But that's okay... And when ever I got back onto the bleachers some of my friends told me good job and this one dude high fived me, and when I got all the way to the top with my friend group they all started congratulating me and stuff like that. One of my friends, if not most, thought that I wouldn't hit the ball, but I don't even care because I didn't think I would either. But it was a lot of fun. That's all I have to say. It was awesome.
