“i don’t know... i always say, don’t knock something until you try it.” she shrugged. “have you tried it?” 

“So, I lost Henry an hour ago, and I still have no idea where he is. I’m on the verge of a panic attack. Please say you’ll help.”

“oh, of course!” she said, biting her bottom lip. “i’m not going to have to touch him if we find him, right? i don’t know if i can handle that.” 

“Hey, whoa, don’t touch that! – It might be cursed, and I’m here to un-curse it,” he paused. “Reverse curse it?” he waved his hand dismissively. “Whatever, you know what I mean.”

she looked at him amusedly. “this is what you do for a living and you don’t even know the proper term for it?” she tsked. “are you sure it’s cursed? it looks find to me.”

Cassie felt the arms around her before putting Cora’s voice together with it, but relaxed when she realized who it was. She placed her arm over hers and gave it a gentle squeeze, before letting go. “i’m fine, darling. I just want to get out of here.” Cassie turned o her and shook her head, “I’m telling you. This is why I don’t come to parties.”

cora sighed a bit and nodded. “i do too - but i don’t think we’re going anywhere anytime soon. don’t these people know i’m claustrophobic?” 

"there you are!” cora said as she finally laid eyes on the familiar blonde, wrapping her arms around cassie without any warning. “i’ve been looking everywhere for you. well - first, i was gonna show you this woman’s horrible outfit, but then obviously i got distracted with all of...” she motioned around the room, shrugging her shoulders a bit. “are you alright?”

“it won’t. i’ll shove it down reese’s throat if i’ll have to,” she hummed, smiling innocently. “hugo would help, jamie probably too, we should stop being friends withcassie at this point,” marcie teased. “hmm, let’s go around 10 pm?”

cora laughed. “i’m sure he’d love that.” she wrinkled up her nose playfully, pretending to think about it. “unfortunately, i think i’m stuck with cassie at this point,” she teased, nodding in agreement. “10 sounds good. i’ll be sure to bring lots of blankets too.”
