Oath of the Source Code
Just a little something I thought up for a custom paladin code.
Anticipate, analyze, annihilate: Some may be content to wait for evil to act before stopping it, but not us. Take proactive action to intercept evil before it can cause harm. Be careful not to use this tenet to justify a "Guilty until proven innocent" mindset.
Refresh to optimize: none are born perfect. Always seek means to improve oneself, and take the time to examine one's own biases.
The source code must flow: education is sacred. Respect these institutions, and do your best to be a source of education yourself.
Accept friendly downloads: just as you are expected to share knowledge, be humble enough to admit when you must receive knowledge from those you confide in.
