Orphan Black premiered on BBC AMERICA exactly one year ago today.
We remember sitting in BBC AMERICA HQ, glued to the internet, hoping everyone would watch the show and love it as much as we did.
You guys showed up. You watched. You came back the next week. And the next week. And the next. You tweeted. You made fan art. Created gifs. Dressed up. You wrote songs. Fan fiction. Critical essays. Recaps. Puns. You made OB t-shirts. Skateboards. Posters. Pillow cases. Pumpkins. Christmas tree ornaments. You came to ComicCon. You went to fan meetups. You threw OB binge parties. You watched every episode again. And again. And AGAIN. You couldn’t pick a favorite clone. You wanted your own personal Felix. You obsessed over Delphine’s hair. You declared Tatiana a star. You demanded she win every award. You celebrated when she won. You said next year when she didn’t. You told your family to watch. You told your friends to watch. You told the coffee barista, the grocery bagger, the dude sitting next to you on the train… you told anyone who would listen, “Hey, have you seen Orphan Black? You should WATCH.”
It has been a wild and wonderful year, #CloneClub, and that is because of you. #CloneClub is what makes Orphan Black so special.
