“I thought shit like this only happened in kid’s TV shows.”

[He was mostly just repeating the words for himself, rather than as a question. Again, Micah’s grip on Marigold’s leash tightens, though it’s out of nerves more than anything.]

[He’s a little hesitant to accept the others offer, but…the idea of being alone right now terrified him more than anything else that could happen. Coughing softly into his arm, Micah nods.]

[ Rhode’s just as scared as Micah. Maybe not of dying, but of being accused of being the killer. He doesn’t want to be alone either, but can’t find Q. ]

[Micah wasn’t entirely sure if he was glad to see the other or not. It seemed as if everything had been thrown for a loop since the incident; and while he may not be good with others, he was relatively certain everyone else felt the same.

Sensing Micah’s tension, Marigold lets out a soft whine, returning his attention back to reality.]

[ He’s not sure what to do. He scuffs the floor with his foot a little bit. ]

Someone was absolutely, one-hundred percen-tly dead.]

..I knew it.

It was only a matter of time…

[Jupiter K…that was the person who Kaia had named specifically, both in her motive statement and her murder statement. It wasn’t a name he recognized outside of that, but it was chilling all the same.]

…We need to get something to eat.

[As much as he wanted to hide himself away forever, he was practically starving at this point. And he couldn’t leave Marigold to face that.

[ He had been leaning against the wall across the hallway from Jupiter’s room, staring intently at her door. He’s still not sure any of this is real. He’s so... confused. It seemed real before the death, but now that someone actually died, it doesn’t seem real anymore. He never thought someone would actually listen to Kaia’s motive. He struggles to keep calm looking, to keep up his facade, but now he’s scared. ]

[ He looks up when he hears a door click down the hall. He says the other’s name in greeting, then returns to staring at Jupiter’s door. ]
