So, the character whose inner selves/identities he masks as that degrade others/themselves about their gender representation and clearly display his internal transphobia/homophobia and misogyny,
who reacts this way to a heavily boarded up room that's probably hiding her/the feminine side/the more vulnerable and comfortable personality,
who gets told he would be "less of a man" and "worse than her father" if he showed even a hint of emotion and sensitivity,
who IMPLIED TO RIBBIT AND THE AUDIENCE THAT HE TRIED TO COME OUT TO HER MOM ONLY TO BE REJECTED AND PROBABLY GOT TOLD "You'll always be my son" BY HER (which doesn't sound as supportive as you think it is btw. pls don't do this to your trans kids)
who reacted this way when he was given a bow on his head which implied Ribbit pieced it all together (he did not react that way TO RIBBIT HERSELF. it's more about Ribbit's action that made him blush),
who has THIS SONG playing in the background during his (YES, HIS. NOT POMNI'S, NOT POMNI AND JAX'S. HIS.) flashbacks,
who, in the real world, frequently visits Zooble's/Riley's bar which is explicitly mentioned to be a QUEER BAR,
AND WHO IS CREATED BY A TRANS WOMAN HERSELF WHO HAS MADE THESE DOODLES OF JAX IN THE PAST AND RECENTLY MADE ANOTHER DOODLE WHICH PRACTICALLY GIVES US CONFIRMATION THAT HE IS TRANS,
If he ain't a trans woman, one thing's for sure; he ain't cis.
ALSO, ANOTHER THING I'VE BEEN SEEING AROUND IS "If Jax is trans, then he's bad representation because he's abusive!". My brother in Christ, if you were told to mask your emotions and grew up in a very dysfunctional environment that promoted toxic masculinity and homo/transphobia without practicing healthy coping mechanisms, you'd be the same way. It absolutely does not excuse his actions, of course, but it doesn't mean you can't sympathize with WHY he's like this. Queer or not, cis or not, that is still a human being with complex emotions who can be affected by the environment they are exposed to.
