Finished talking with Selena now, Gaius only had one thing on his mind, and that was to speak to Brick. He had been looking forward to getting to spend time with him all day, but that excitement was now replaced with dread that sat at the bottom of his stomach as he walks. Hand shoved in his pockets, he starts to think that maybe it was his fault? Why else would Brick go and do that so many times? He feels inadequate. He knows he shouldn’t, but he does.

Gaius makes his way to Brick’s ‘lair’, the underground of the apartments after they were destroyed, and doesn’t stop as he pushed his way inside, doesn’t falter as he moves inside. When he finally reaches Brick, instead of moving forward to place a kiss on the other’s lips in greeting as he usually does, he stays dead still straight in front of him, and the usual warm expression is now frozen and cold. There’s none of the usual confidence behind his stance as he just stands, arms slack by his sides.

“ I know what you did. ”

His voice is laced with hurt, but he doesn’t shout and he doesn’t whisper, voice simply staying level despite the fact he wants to yell at Brick until his voice is hoarse and broken.

“Not quite.. In the last simulation game, he decided to announce just how often he has cheated on you with other people, counting higher with his brother as though it were some sort of contest. He revealed four people, one of which I was unfortunately present to have to listen to.”

“He also disguised himself by taking my form, and while in said form, cheated once more with his brother.”

The fur along her tail bristles with her rage at the memory.

“The reason he gave for such actions? ‘Gaius has not banged me in a week, these are desperate times.’ I just figured you should know what has been going on behind your back.“

Gaius listens carefully to each and every word she says, because Brick is important to him and he wants to know whatever she has to say, and if he’s able to defend him for whatever he’s done this time. But the more she speaks, the more his gaze drops and his features visibly slouch, he lets out a sigh once she’s done and folds lean arms across his chest as his brows furrow in he’s not sure what anymore.

He doesn’t even know what to feel; a mix of anger, hurt, disappointment, but there’s no surprise there. It’s happened before, why wouldn’t it happen again? The fact that he was bragging hurt him the most, and that he did it again. The reason was petty at it only served to boil the anger in him further. He simply nods for a few seconds, before looking back at Selena.

“ I see. Thank you for telling me, ‘m sorry he did that. Dunno what will happen but... Thank you anyway. ”

This was the kind of game the brat wanted to play? Fine. It had only been a nasty little idea, at first, but disguising himself as her and taking part in such unholy acts with his brother? She was happy to make him suffer, now.

“Gaius, was it? I believe I have some rather interesting information about your ‘boyfriend..’ It holds the potential of greatly affecting your relationship..so I believe it to be in your best interesting to listen.”

With the approaching of the stranger ( or, not really stranger, he had seen her around sometimes, though they had never really spoken much before ), Gaius could only look up with a raised brow, and at the mention of Brick he immediately tenses up. At this point, he shouldn’t really be surprised at people coming to him about the Ruff anymore.

“ Yeah? What is it? He blow something up again, or was it punchin’ someone in the face this time? Not surprised at either. Go ahead an’ tell me. ”
