This week, I re-orchestrated my All Star cover

I plan to publish it to streaming platforms!

I never published the 2020 original to streaming platforms because frankly I wasn’t all that proud of it

This week I revisited the viral project and made several refinements to make it go from good to great:

Swapping old sample libraries with next gen libraries, making the sound even more realistic

Using the six additional years of orchestration knowledge I’ve gained since the 2020 cover to make it better balanced

Writing more advantageously for each instrument

A very climactic ending

I’m excited to share it with everyone! I’ll post it only after it gets distributed on Spotify, so y’all have a place to save it

Got a new blazer for the first time in about a decade

Went from medium to XL! I view it as a positive thing since I didn’t used to have a lot of muscle

Moved up a size because I’ve been getting stronger and my 15 year old collection of mediums couldn’t accommodate my shoulders 😅

I saved a frog!

Went on the elliptical, took a cooldown lap at the pool, and spotted a frog in the pool

Thought nothing of it and went back to the apartment

Then my girlfriend told me the frog was probably stuck and absorbing chlorime

So I went back to the pool, went in with my clothes on to get the frog out

The receptionist came out and got a net, caught the frog and released it into a bush

Since my shorts were already wet I decided to take a cold plunge
