     In the entirety of her crime-fighting experience, never once had Blossom been at odds with the law. But now, stuck in an unfamiliar city, she was being detained. The officer that had detained her ( after what turned out to be an icy run-in with a few muggers ) called it in as another case of ‘Central City’s inability to contain their nut jobs’. Apparently, her completely understandable confusion made her a nut job. They would’ve been confused, too, if their bright city vanished before their eyes, quickly replaced by the universe’s most gloomy ghost town.

      “So, is Blossom like a nickname kinda thing, or like, is that what it says on your ID and everything?”

        there’s a deep sigh that’s planted into the air by her,  virescent hues being fixed upon the redhead.  she watches her play dress up with herself,  hoping for some kind of conversation spark to light up the  FUN  in the room.  however excitement is dead  &  so is buttercup’s happiness.  she fakes a yawn,  louder than usual,  hinting to blossom that she’s bored.  after a minute,  she clears her throat,  running fingers through dark hair.    “  blossom  !  let’s go do something.  i’m bored.  ”

           blossom’s eyes drift to buttercup’s reflection in the mirror that she’d previously been busying herself with the examination of her own reflection in. a pout draws itself onto her freshly laquered lips at the sound of her sister’s yawn. dramatic. she flips her hair to glance over her shoulder. “we are doing something.” she reminds the other girl. “we’re organizing my section of the closet. d’you wanna go through yours next? make sure everything’s still... on trend?” blossom presses, hopeful despite the other girl’s lack of enthusiasm.
