Commander, A Guide to Commands
[Hey pals! Ender here! I'm writing this finally since I got motivation to finish chapter 1 so I did! I'll be cross-posting this onto ao3 which you can find here!]
Max paced back and forth across the off colored grass and clicks his wrists together a couple times as he paced. Max paused and started running his thumb across the crease of his palm to calm himself down, bouncing a bit to center his energy.
"Greet the viewers Max, gotta greet the viewers."
Max turned towards the setting sun and smiled, taking a deep breath in and exhaling out calmly.
"Hel-lo everybody! My name's Mithzan and I'm here to bring you something I've been wanting to mess around with more for a while. I've been semi planning out ahead of time before I got everything together so I thought we'd just get right into the commands!"
Max slid across his hotbar to the command block and places it down on the cool grass.
"Now, you might be wondering, what's the best command to start with?" Max asked while cracking his knuckles. "Well if you asked me it'd probably be satchie, saturation. So what you're going to do is open up your command block."
Max clicked onto the command block and started rapid tapping his foot against the ground pulling up the keypad.
"Once here, this is where you're gonna be doing most of your commands so if you can't then this will just be useless to you. Anyway! Put slash effect, space, at- now this next part depends on who you want this to affect so it could vary slightly but I'm gonna do at a which is any and every player on the server- so at a, space, saturation, space, infinite since you don't want this running out, two fifty five since that's the max, and then end it with space true."
Max inputted the command as he spoke and gazes it it for a bit and he starts lightly bouncing in place and exits the command block. Sliding across his hotbar to the stone button clicking it in his hand.
"I have it on needs redstone which just means it needs a power input to function and won't just keep going off. I have a button since that's honestly the better option in this situation. So all you do next is place the button on top aaaand," Max placed the button atop the command block and clicks it. "Click!"
A message in the chat pops up and Max is rapid tapping the ground below himself in pure joy.
"Satchie's a good one to have in general but just as a default command to add. I mean, it's never fun or a good thing to feel like you're starving. Might end up eating anything at that point, probably something inedible the likelihood is there. Not the greatest thing to do.."
Max silently trailed off for a moment but clicked himself back standing straight up.
"So! Saturation is the solution!"
Max turns towards the setting sun and smiles.
"Easy command for a start. I really hope you enjoyed, I plan on doing more command showings in the future but let me know what you thought of this one! I think its gonna be pretty useful to a lot of you out there. But that's gonna be it from me. I'm Mithzan, and I appreciate your existence."
Max took a deep breath and started jumping a few times and clapping his palms together.
"First command down! Yes! I think that went well, explained it well enough. Hopefully. Hmmm.. What else can I do while I'm here?"
Max started wandering around the flat off colored grounds playing around with the end of one of his sleeves.
"Wonder how Ross is doing? I really hope he decided to go and do that Parkour map he said she was gonna go check out."
