Suddenly, with all the stuff with Avid and Marm, it's starting to make sense.

No matter how many "i told you sos" youll see on twitter or anywhere else, please dont feel like you should've known better when the whole point of the shitstorm is that people got manipulated, intentionally. Youll see the sentiment of "dont idolise content creators" repeated, and it seems so obvious from the get go, but I know it often only hits once something of this severity happens in relation to a creator you love.

It hurts and it sucks and however you decide to react to it is your business and your business alone. Keep creating, keep loving, or take a break, focus on something else entirely, whatever you do, there is no correct or right way to deal with putting so much effort and care into stories of people who hurt others, not when theyre already off the cc sphere anyway.

please everyone, check how your perception of gay men and how "dangerous" they are for other individuals might be affected by the way homophobia is baked into our day to day life and society

there was a very clear thread of one of the narratives avid was trying to pin on the one very openly gay man that was his friend at one point earlier this year. there was a clear narrative he was trying to portray

and when some people tried to point out how many of the things he was saying reflected homophobic talking points and narratives, they were shut down claiming people only cared because "they care more about mlm shipping than misogyny"

But PLEASE do not use narcissism, npd, bpd, or anything else similar as insults to anyone involved in this! This is also something Avid did a lot on his streams when he'd vaguely insult people, and would ignore comments on, and trying to turn these against them isn't the win you're hoping for.
