MK:BC Experiment #1310

Currently a lot of details about the plan are up in the air because it's kind of a messy situation.

Just to recap: My apartment, where I live with @comet-wrangler, has a bat infestation in our crawlspace. The bats are a protected species, so they can't be killed like most pests, and they can't be evicted during their breeding season (which lasts legally until August 15). We have no idea if it's feasible to block them from entering the living space in the unit. Given that bats are my country's #1 transmitter of rabies, our unit is effectively not safe to occupy.

Theoretically, costs associated with this situation should be covered by our landlord, but you guys know how landlords are. We've had a lot of costs to deal with upfront that we couldn't get reimbursed yet, and have no clue if we'll get that money back.

Money donated thru the k-f will go towards:

hotel costs

increased food costs, since we can't cook in our hotel

rabies shots (because of course this happened right after I aged out of my last insurance)

making up for time I and my partner had to take off work for this

and other costs I don't have a way to predict yet.
