I wish I was born something else, someone else.

Like a bird, or a man.

I will spend the rest of my life trying to make it up to myself.

But of what kind?

You stand so tall to take in sunlight.

You weep in the dark, drained from the soil below.

Do you grow petals that fade and fall away like tears;

the pain of the incidences of yesterday?

Do you bloom so slowly that time was built around your existence?

Does it speak with soft words…

Rolling off the drums that beat no rhythm to our ears.

You rot in a spot of calm and silent.

How wonderful will be the end of all things as the body destroys itself.

i took pictures in the park

i picked the fallen leaves

red

yellow

orange

purple

i collected them in a paper bag

after leaving the park

i went to the market

i bought a string of christmas lights

it was a blinking light with yellow colour

i went home

i decorated my room with the light

i need a christmas tree
