ComedyCircuits™ is the perfect cure for the common “pass the mic” show and most definitely the cure for those Sunday night blues at the Improv this weekend.  They promised you’d laugh your way into Monday and comedy circuits delivered with a healthy dose of good vs. evil competition…and hot cheerleaders.

Host Jay Phillips taught us the good and the bad about crack, an educational start to what already felt like a magical evening filled with obscenity, and only the most tasteful insults.  Team captain Roy Wood Jr. immediately won the coin toss stare off against blue team captain K-Von by responding to his first crack with nothing more than a beefy exhale.  Courtney Scheuerman worked the crowd with just nipples while Nick Cobb extended an olive branch and the audience went and wiped their ass with it.

A great practice for all performers came up quick with the “3rd Street” challenge, do your set without a microphone.  Aidan Park, gay, hilarious and proud had so little problem with this I was quick to forget there was normally a mic!

What I’ll never forget was Kevin Shea’s shameless “Defending Hitler” set praising our old friend Bill Cosby.  The king of sit down stand-up, Kevin paid tribute literally ass on floor.  Dwayne Perkins kicked our favorite puppy Betty White and brought it home with the grandma references, as they always do.

Up next was I believe an audience favorite, “too late” and “too soon.” Lorena Bobbit, no doubt a castrating trend setter of our time, commenced a wonderful set of dick jokes for Candice Thompson.  Eleanor Kerrigan brought us back to the 21st Century with her uncanny likeness and love for Americas new bombshell Caitlyn Jenner.  High scores all around at this point, I think a judge may have been paid with sexual favors, and it may have been confirmed after Eleanor’s success across the board.

Ending the night with “Corporate Gig” was a hilarious reminder of our Monday morning obligations, with a sexual twist.  Roy Wood Jr. discussed the real fantasy of raw dogging it on PornHub.  K-Von led his team to sweet victory with a wish to Trojan and the comedy gods for a latex allergy, and the swelling that would no doubt ensue.

I have a feeling that won’t be the last we see of good vs. evil comedians competing for the ultimate #ComedyCircuits bragging rights.  However, let the depression wash over you now if you missed it because Eleanor “Cutelyn Jenner” Kerrigan’s balls can only drop once.
