I was prepared, but it still hurt.

You can go through your entire life hating yourself and telling yourself that you’re not good enough for whatever reasons you can come up with. Or you can say “Fuck it” and you can decide that you want to love yourself. You can decide that you are good enough and that you are worthy enough to live a beautiful life without constantly being at war with who you are. It’s your choice.

There are a few things you must never say unless you mean them from the bottom of your heart. I love you, I am there for you and I’ll never leave you are words that should never be lies because that is how you tear a soul apart.
