Another sleepless night, or whatever it was on this damn ship..

At least they were, presumably, making headway. He’d signed up, he was at the willful ignorance of Rodimus. ‘ Nothing like patching up a bunch of idiots again, ‘ he mentally chimed.. affectionately. At least there were less incidents.

Given how quiet it was in the medical bay, he thought he might as well try to call Cybertron and check in. He was sure First Aid was up.

Sitting at his terminal, he put in a connection request for voice comm. First Aid would receive it any moment..

Sorry, Ratchet. You won’t be reaching Cybertron. That call ended up getting directed towards Earth circa late 1980s/early 1990s. And while First Aid was the one to answer, it wasn’t the First Aid that Ratchet had originally tried to call. 

This was a much younger and much less seasoned medic.

Still, he would answer.
