Thankfully, my oldest hasn’t jumped on the whole TikTok thing. If she does, then her mom will gladly join in which should clear me completely. I hear a bunch about it from my younger teammates though so I think it’s only a matter of time before they try something.

Cole; right on the dot skeet, I was up all night With Sophie

“Right? A newborn and a six month old sounds wild. I don’t know if I could handle that.” She laughed, tilting her head towards the bassinet. Usually Sophie would have woken up to feed by now and so far she seemed out like a light. Maybe they’d both get some good sleep. “I don’t feel ready for another pregnancy or labor pains.” She replied, a chuckle escaping. “You’ll go into protective papa bear mode, won’t you? I can see it already.”

“well have me to help you every step of the way but we need to focus on Sophie.” He said and cuddled more into her.” I know that must of been hell huh?” He cringed and made a face.” I can’t imagine the pain.” He looked at her face.” Yes I will, No one is messing with my kids, not on my watch.” 

She grinned back, a laugh escaping her lips. “I know I’m not wrong. You’re a child trapped in a 26 year old’s body. But I love you for it.” She added. “I mean I wouldn’t complain. But let’s just see how we both feel when Soph is a little older. I don’t wanna raise a 6 month old and a newborn. That might be a bit much.” She added. “Oh he’ll be a ladies man alright. I’ll have to turn on my mama bear mode. No girl will ever be good enough for him and no boy will ever be good enough for Soph.”

“Yes that is true, I have an inner six year old trapped inside of me.” He said with a soft laugh.” Wow a newborn and a 6 month old, okay now that will be world war 3.” He joked.” Two babies will be a lot of work but I feel like we could do it, Heck I feel ready for another newborn.” He laughed as he felt good being a daddy already.” I would have to turn on papa bear mode for our two little cubs because I don’t want them to ever get hurt.” Cole was very protective. 

“Shh, you’re not old babe. You still act like a kid. I basically have two kids to raise.” She teased with a playful smirk. Safe to say she was waking up more. “It’ll go by pretty quick though, right? Maybe when she’s a year. I have read that it’s more likely to get pregnant easier after you’ve had your first. Women are more likely to get pregnant again within the first year of just having a baby.” She added. “A mini you would be absolutely adorable. We need a mini Cole running around. We already have that award but I agree with you.”

He laughed.” Well you’re not wrong there babe.” He shook his head, he was pretty childlike and made lots of jokes every time he could, he loved to prank her and the rest of the cast mates.” Well it seems we’ll have a Cole Junior on the way.” He said with a chuckle.” Yes it would, I’d love son I teach him to be just like daddy, How to get the ladies.” He winked playfully.” He’ll be a ladies man all on his own.” He laughed. 

She nodded along with his response. “I think we’re kinda young to be settling down with a family but we’re ready at the same time, you know? We’ve been together for a while. Almost a year.” She yawned again, letting her arms wrap around his. “I definitely want a couple more in the future. Maybe when Sophie is a year or two we can try for another. See how we feel when we get there.” She couldn’t help but smile at seeing a mini Cole. “I’d love to have a boy. A boy and another girl maybe. How cute would a mini you be?”

“Yeah but I’m pushing 30.” He laughed.” I guess it was time I’d become a daddy.” He chuckled.” That’s a long time.” He smiled.” A mini me would be awesome and almost as adorable as a mini a you which is Sophie, She looks just like you it’s crazy.” He said.” Now all we need is a mini me to complete it, that would be super cute, we’d win the cutest family award.”  He smiled playfully.

“You’re the best.” She smiled, leaning up to press a kiss to his lips. “You’re such a good daddy. Soph adores you.” She added, laying back in his arms. Everyday she looked at Sophie and it blew her mind that she was a mom. Truly, she couldn’t believe it. But she was eternally grateful for Cole to have adopted her and be raising her with him. “I never thought I’d be a mom yet. I thought it would came later on down the road, you know? After we get married and settle into all of that. But I’m so thankful for you.” She added, looking up at him. “You’re an amazing dad. I always knew you would be.”

He kissed back.”You’re the bestest baby.” He grinned.”And I adore her just as much.” He was excited they were a family and it meant everything to him.”You’re 22 and I’m going to be 27, we’re still young but I think it’s perfect timing.” Cole smiled.”We can always work on adding once soph is a little older, When you’re ready again.” When she brought up marriage he was nervous because he was actually planning to propose to her soon. “Hopefully we have a boy.”

Lili placed her gently into the bassinet in their room, carefully making sure she was swaddled and comfortable before she began getting herself changed into her own pajamas, crawling into bed next to Cole. “Yeah, there’s a few bottles ready in the fridge.” She added, holding back another yawn as she snuggled into his side. “Can you believe this is our lives? A baby while filming Riverdale?” She asked, her eyes slowly closing. Sometimes that just hit her out of nowhere. She still couldn’t believe it all happened so soon. 

“Okay good, I’ll get her tonight and you can just rest, You need it.” Cole didn’t mind taking the shift when Sophie woke up, wether she was hungry or needed a diaper change, He didn’t mind waking up,  AFter all they were in it together and he took full responsibility for her when he signed those papers. He’s never been more happier in his life to be Sophie’s father, she meant the world to him and he loved her to pieces. “I know this is crazy, We’re parents, I never thought I would be a dad yet.” 

Lili happily moved in closer to Cole, she was just grateful to be back in his arms again. “I’m so proud of you, babe. You’re absolutely killing it.” She smiled, the pride evident in her voice. “I can’t wait to see the project.” She nodded at his question, a yawn falling out before she could respond. “Yeah, she’s been great. Slept most of the day. I’m just hoping she’ll stay asleep a little longer so I can get some more sleep tonight.” She added, her head slipping onto his chest, her normal spot when they were together. “Should we move to the bed? I’m ready to pass out.”

“Thanks babe.” He smiled tiredly.”I’m excited to see when it’s all done.” He nodded and got up.”Don’t worry, I’ll get her if she wakes up. you do have bottles of milk from the breast pump right?” He asked as he took off his jeans and laid on the bed, He hoped she prepared some bottles for him, he wanted to help out as much as her could and if she didn’t prepare them, they’ll just have to get on top of that so cool would be able to feed her when needed and Lili could get rest. He just wanted to make things easier for her.

Lili understood that Cole had to take care of things with his projects. It wasn’t like they could both sit around and do nothing on this haitus. Lili had stuff she needed to get done as well, but she was also loving her time to bond with Soph. It was really important to her that she could be there for her in these early stages. That bond was so important between baby and mom. “Hey baby.” She smiled sleepily as he kissed her. “I’m so glad you’re home.” She whispered, laying her head on his shoulder. “How was everything? Did it go good?”

He hummed.“I’m glad to be home, You don’t even know babe.” He kissed the top of her head.” Yeah everything went fine, I’m excited for this project, It’s going to be awesome.” He said and noticed how sleepy she was.” You look exhausted babe.” He chuckled and laid his head on top of hers.” I’m pretty exhausted as well. Has soph been good to you while i was gone? She didn’t give that much of hard time did she?” He asked with a chuckle as he yawned. 

Lili was exhausted. That much was obvious. After reading up on how much newborns sleep most of the day, she hadn’t expected to be so drained each night when Sophie was sleeping. Of course, she was up every couple hours to breastfeed her and could only sleep in 30 minute shifts and she didn’t sleep that well in those minutes if she was being honest. She couldn’t wait for Cole to come home, not only to help her out but she just missed him so much. She missed him holding her when she couldn’t sleep.

With Sophie passed out on her lap, Lili shoveled forkfuls of her Chinese into her mouth. She wanted to eat as much as she could before she woke up to feed again. Checking her texts to see that Cole was only 20 minutes away, she breathed a sigh of relief as she continued her binge of TVD. “Daddy is on his way, little bug. Hopefully you’ll sleep a little bit longer tonight.” She sighed, brushing a strand of blonde hair off her face. She looked like such an angel when she was sleeping. @colemsprousehq
