Heyyy! We’re the Color Garden system! We were diagnosed back in 2020 but our previous host had been in DEEP denial up until last year so we decided to make this little side blog as something fun for us to all contribute to.

We might draw some stuff occasionally, but there’s no guarantee on that. I’ll do some intros for the main suspects, there are others but I doubt they’d post anything, IF THEY WANT TO IG THEY CAN 🙄 but they can just make their intros later -💔

do you have any advice for starting a system comic blog?

Anyways advice? Ummm I’d say “just do it” and while that’s true here’s some things we’ve learned after starting the blog!

- People LOVE funny relatable stuff. One of our first posts was about looking through the plural tags and having to block so many people, and that’s one of our most popular posts! (Kinda annoyed at that but I also understand why y’know?)

- People also love a feel-good comic! When we post, we try to make people feel good about themselves and feel seen. Our most popular post is a feel-good comic about our family accepting our plurality!

- Despite our experience with our blog, we know that most blogs aren’t as lucky when it comes to big numbers. Don’t feel discouraged by a lack of post interactions! The algorithm can be weird sometimes!

- This is rlly important, but make your comics accessible!! Add alt text if possible, and make sure your comics have good contrast! We struggled with this a lot in the beginning, especially with Cyn and her comic color, and if people can’t read what your characters are saying, that’s bad!
