Yes yes.. another comic diary.. but we longed to make our own so here it is!

We are the Constellation Station! Lovers for the stars above and are star beings itself. Each member in our system is a star part of our “constellation”, that being our body/collective self! We are a fictive/introject heavy system, and our goal with this blog is to explore our suspected plurality as we learn about ourselves.

~ We do not care for syscourse!! Please don’t bring it here or start anything. All system origins (endo, willo, tulpa, etc) are welcomed here!

I’m so happy people love our comics! Seeing the support from people and our friends/mutuals and getting to connect with others makes everything feel a lot less lonely! I hope you all will continue to stay and enjoy the show!!

I’ve been obsessed with playin Backroom Redacted recently and it’s so much because in a sense it reminds me of Yume Nikki where you mainly just walk around unless you’re on a class 2 and above level (or just one with a random hostile entity), and you gotta pull up the wiki to find out where to find all the levels and how to access them, and there’s just something special in that for me

Chat it’s okay I promise…use whatever similar name you want for us… constellation… con.station… we are not picky…

Memory Loss

More art of them that Pastel forgot to share, aren’t they cute? The first image is by them, the 2nd is by hit twin @rebootsys, the 3rd by @randomlychangingsystem, and the 4th… I’m honestly unsure/don’t remember (apologies), but hopefully I can find whoever made it to tag!

All the art is so cute… thank you to everyone who drew us on the whiteboard, truly! It means a lot to us to see ourselves get drawn

Honestly, none of us thought we’d ever get this question, so it makes us feel honored in a way to get this! We had to do a good amount of thinking instead of just giving a “just do it” kind of answer, since we honestly just freeballed it when we started, so hopefully these help!

Like any other media, the algorithm is weird and honestly pretty luck based, so don’t stress about your comics not getting much traction at first! Things take time, and so long as your account is active, you’ll gain traction eventually!

Accessibility for your comics is important! At the very least, make sure the colors you use for your comics can be clearly readable on the background color you use (so preferably no extremely bright colors on a white background for example, mess around with color shades!) You can also write transcripts for your comics as well if you wanna keep the colors, but still have the plain text readable

Don’t put yourself in such high expectations when making comics! Most cases, people make sys comics in order to share their experiences with others, but don’t burn yourself out by insisting you have to post daily or something, or that everything has to look absolutely perfect in order to post it.

This goes with the one above, but let your art be ugly! Let it be bad! It’s okay I promise!! Your comics don’t have to be perfect each time, or have the style be necessarily consistent. Don’t stress about perfectionism because if you do then you’ll get so stressed you might just not wanna make comics again, or have a hard time making them/posting because it doesn’t look right.

This is more preference based, but make sure your comic designs are designs you (and everyone else in your system) can comfortably draw! This can mean making simple designs with one unique feature, or just full on character drawings if that’s more your style, just make sure it’s something everyone can draw!

Making relatable comics is perfectly fine (and good!), but don’t forget that your comics are about *your* experiences with plurality! If people relate to the comics you make about said experiences, that’s great! But dont think every comic should necessarily be relatable in order for you to make it. Each system is different, and so everyone will have their own different experiences rather than cookie-cutter events. And sometimes it’s just you throwing your experience out into the void of tumblr to get it off your chest

Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there! Say hi to other syscomic artists! Talk to them, and create a safe and inviting space for others! Putting yourself out there is scary, I know deeply, but even just putting silly little comments about how you relate to a comic or art you saw can go a long way!

I found another me!!! Today was so bad for me so going on the whiteboard and seeing little drawings of me scattered around makes today so much better!! I love it and I cherish each little drawing of me I see!

Erm silly doodle I did of myself on @rebootsys whiteboard (which you should totally join and add some drawings… link on twins blog), I haven’t used whiteboard in months because I prefer magma but like.. I think I did pretty okay overall
