PART-TIME VIDEO EDITING WORK
Titan Engineering is a software company based here in Denver that hosts two separate Software-as-a-Service web applications:
• Titanarmor.com • Titanecho.com
Both applications are used by CPAs nationally to run tax projects in complicated areas of the tax code. We are constantly coding new functionality to improve these applications, and continuously record MP4 video training clips so our users can self-train. These video clips typically are screen casts of the application, and instructions on how to complete certain functions. However, many times the screen shot shows specific, real, client information. This info needs to be blurred out so that it’s unreadable. In addition, it’s common that a 15-minute video clip (for example) needs to be broken into smaller clips to address individual training goals. We are looking to hire an intern on a per project basis, and are open to negotiating an appropriate fee per project. Projects come in sporadically, and we can be flexible on the turn-around time. The applicant needs access to Photoshop, or another video editing tool. We are also open to any suggestions for improving the video clips for professionalism. The work will be done remotely, with limited to no supervision. Please submit your interest to me via email to: [email protected]. Thanks for your consideration.
Videographer Wanted
From: Randy Mills Subject: MRC2016
Name: Randy Mills
Email: [email protected]
Event Type: Opportunity
Event Title: MRC2016
Event Description:
I'm exploring having a videographer capture the essence of Miss Rodeo Colorado. Our daughter, Madelaine Mills is the current Miss Rodeo Colorado for 2016. http://www.missrodeocolorado.com/
With this title she is an ambassador for the sport of rodeo, western heritage, and the state of Colorado. Her position is supported through sponsorship and we will host a coronation and fund raiser at the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs on February 27. It is at this event that we are interested filming and producing short videos that express her spirit, intellect and mission.
I was referred to the Colorado Film School by a student acquaintance, Justin Bauer.
Look forward to understanding if this might fight into a student job project?
Truly,

The Film intern would be responsible for a 90 second – 2 min video that we would begin using externally at the conclusion of the internship.
Software skills required: Windows OSX operating system Premiere Pro CC AfterEffects CC Final Cut Pro/X Photoshop Encore Audition CC
Experience requirements: GoPro cameras Canon EOS Cameras Arie/Mole/Keno hot and cool lights Audio lavalier and shotgun mics Green screen set up Storyboarding Script writing & storytelling
And finally- if I were posting a job it would look something like this:
General Motors Creative Design is seeking three 2016 Summer Interns- one GRAPHIC DESIGNER, one ENVIRONMENT/EXPERIENCE DESIGNER and one VIDEOGRAPHER for a unique opportunity we’re calling the “Multimedia Intern Project”. These three interns will work together and be challenged to quickly understand our diverse creative culture and tell the story in a variety of creative mediums to include a 90 second video montage, a gallery exhibit, and a comprehensive graphics communication package.
The Multimedia Project Interns must be creative storytellers that can work collaboratively, cross-influence one another and create a unique vision of our design process bringing it to life in a way that communicates our passion, coolness, great products, and our kick-ass creative culture.
This assignment is not for the faint of heart! We are looking for absolute rock stars in their discipline who can accept this challenge head on, work independently, and most importantly- deliver! Not only will the results of this project grace the pages of your portfolio, but they will be used immediately in all GM Design recruiting activities at both the collegiate and high school levels as well as community outreach activities and our summer internship program. OUTFEST SCREENWRITING LAB
Los Angeles, California - USA
June 2016
In the Spotlight today is the 14th Annual Outfest Screenwriting Lab, an incredible hands on experience that provides screenwriters the opportunity to develop their work. The authors of five screenplays will be invited to participate in an intensive laboratory during which they will work closely with established writers who will critique and encourage their work. Outfest staff selects Lab Fellows, with recommendations from a panel of writers, directors, producers and development executives.
The lab includes sessions with other industry professionals, structured career development opportunities and participation in ongoing festival events. Developing talent is seen as a long-term investment and Outfest is committed to fostering the growth of lab fellows well beyond the three-day program in June. The five finalists will also have the thrilling opportunity to watch their script come to life with a live stage-reading event during the Outfest Los Angeles LGBT Film Festival in July 2016.
Outfest Screenwriting Alumna, Louise Wadley shares her experience, "The Outfest Screenwriting Lab was instrumental in the development of my script, The Trouble with e. The experience of one-on-one script sessions with Industry mentors like Guinevere Turner, Barry Sandler and others is an amazing opportunity. Who knew that I would be so grateful for all that straight talking! But perhaps most invaluable was having mentor Michele Mulroney (Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows) direct a stage reading of my script. It helped crystallize what worked and what didn't. The honest feedback of the script mentors and the support of Outfest gave me a huge boost of confidence. I went back to Australia and wrote and re-wrote while my producer raised extra finance. We wrapped the five-week shoot Christmas 2013. I could not have gotten this far without Outfest."
UPCOMING DEADLINE January 15, 2016 - Regular Deadline
MISSION AND OBJECTIVE Since 1997, seven films have been produced that were ushered through the Outfest Screenwriting Lab. What began as a screenwriting competition has expanded into a dynamic three-day, mentor-led workshop in Los Angeles for selected screenwriters.
