I’ve got to make a posable puppet, but I’m not exactly sure how. I want him to be mostly made of felt, the wings, for example, will be needle felted, and I can stick a wire through the top, which will probably possibly maybe hopefully work.
The wings are the only things that can move freely, the rest needs joints, so I need to break up the pieces into segments and connect them with something wire. The question is what do I make the segments, the knees, thighs, shoes, and torso out of? They won’t be visible because clothes but it all needs to move under, what should I use, something like tin foil or air dry clay?
Maybe I’ll use wood like this smkoberg fellow’s instructables
