I thought a fun project for the year would be to commission several artists (at least one/month) and see what they thought I would look like as a dragon. So at least once a month I'll reblog this post and add that month's dragon(s)!
For January I went to Sylph264 to kick off this project! She designs dragons on a near daily basis, so I knew she needed to be first. And the result is lovely! I especially love the swirling wings. π She managed to pull off a fierce yet also very friend shaped design at the same time.
February's goopy dragon design is brought to us by Talicor! The little candle tail is such a fun little touch, and the smokey wings are so fun!
March isn't just a dragon, it's two dragons in a whole Digimon evolution lineup! Kept putting off posting till I had time to come up with names, but I still haven't had the time and March is ending. These lovelies were designed by Scowlingelf!
April's dragon looks quite imposing, but you probably don't have anything to fear if you aren't a seagull. This gorgeous design was done by Chris_JDT! The goopy waxy wings are absolutely my favorite part, and the candle flames are mesmerizing!
May's dragon was an unexpected gift from @zhemariart! I absolutely love the iridescent belly scales and how the tail ends in a candelabra fashion. The galaxy mane also looks gorgeous! Thank you again Zhe for this beauty. π
For the month of June we have a dragon by @lukasbestgirl! The big ol horns make me think about the Longhorns we're known for over here in Texas, and the wedding ring is also an adorable touch. By far my favorite part is how lazy this fucker looks. I feel it in my bones.
