My sister and I had a little fun in studio today shooting some headshots for a retouching assignment.

Went to the Greater Vancouver Zoo this afternoon.  It was pretty fun.  The animals were lazing around, but the lighting was amazing so I got some pretty cool photos.  Look forward to it!

First try on interior architecture.  This was taken at one of UBC’s many libraries. 

First try on architecture photography.  This was also from last year’s class.  The building is the Anvil Centre in New Westminster.

Another one from the same shoot.  The glasses itself is not Giordano, but the case that came with it was (hahaha).

Here is one of my photos from last year’s creative class.  I had fun shooting and editing this project.  I’m looking forward to doing more product photography.

The drive to Sequoia National Park was like a roller coaster.  The view was amazing though.

The Krustyland at Universal Studios Hollywood looked really cool.  I didn’t get the chance to go in though since there were other places we wanted to go.

Long Beach was fun.

The place I’m staying at doesn’t have internet.  I’ll be posting some of the photos I took during the time I was offline.  We’ll be staying at The Cosmopolitan Hotel for two nights.  I’ll take a lot of photos and upload it as soon as I can. 👍👍

Been spending time in Las Vegas for the past few days.  We walked through Bellagio, Caesars Palace, and The Cosmopolitan.  My sister and I couldn’t take the smell of cigarettes because of our allergy.  Also, the nightlife doesn’t suit me

Had the opportunity to see the General Sherman Tree, the largest tree in the world.  We walked down the trail which has numerous other large Sequoia trees.  The weather was really nice.  The walk down towards the tree was a bit hard for me since I sprained my ankle the night before.

Went to Universal Studios Hollywood two days ago.  We spent most of our time in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

I had a lot of fun at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood.  It is amazing how real it all felt stepping into the entrance of Hogsmeade.  I bought a Slytherin sweater, a necktie, and a headband.  I really wanted to buy the robe, but that will be for next time.

My first try on focus stacking. It turned out ok. I used two bellows with a PhaseOne back and a 90 mm lens. The bug was still alive and I had to kill it twice (drowned it in alcohol). I felt really bad afterwards.
