In a world of being connected all the time, we have to protect our time. That's if you got goals and want to achieve them, cause no one is going to do it for you, or value your time as much as you do. I know it's hard to tell someone no, but you have to remember when you tell someone or something to do something that's going to move you one step closer to your goals or a better life than you're saying yes to that.
In this video, we break down the differences and similarities between sleep and meditation. They look pretty similar to the eye but the real differences are going on mentally. I believe sleep is essential and meditation is a good habit as well but not as important as sleep, both are great habits to cultivate overall.
Sometimes in life, we go through struggles big and small. When we're going through them it feels like we should give up on everything and just quit. But that's not going to make you stronger, when we face obstacles and challenges we have to face them and overcome them to become stronger in life. In this video, I share some things in my life I've been struggling with recently and how I'm trying to overcome these obstacles and come out stronger on the other side. How much sleep do you try and get each night?
Personally, I try and get around 8 hours, but it doesn't always happen like this last night for example I only got 5-6 hours of sleep. Cause I just couldn't fall asleep, who else feels me on this? Well sometimes we do these habits that are destroying our sleep and we don't even realize it. And I think the reason I could fall asleep was that I was on my computer later then I usually am and if you want to know why the light from your phone, computer, or tablet can keep you up longer at night. A little over a year ago I decided that I wasn't going to college. I decided that instead of continuing my education through traditional school, I'm going to continue my education through self-education. Do you meditate? Or have you tried it before? Let me know! I started meditating at the end of 2018, during that time you could say I was at the lowest point in my life so far. I lost my freedom cause I was on probation and wasn't making the best decisions, then near the end of 2018 right before Christmas, I ended up getting put on house arrest. I was really mad and bummed out about it but instead, I started to try and change my mindset towards my current situation. Looking back on it house arrest was one of the best things that ever happened to me. For the rest of the story, check out the video!

Are you starting to workout? or have you been lifting consistently for awhile? Cause I just posted a video about how to start working out and then actually stick with it for the long run now just a few days or weeks. The reason I also ask if you've been lifting for a longer period of time is cause I'd like to hear from you and if you have any tips for those who want to get in shape but just have a hard time sticking with it. Let me know in the comments!!! Also if you are just starting out or are just having trouble sticking with it, it's nothing to be ashamed of. I was the same way for YEARS, I wouldn't be consistent for longer than a few weeks. I'd get in a routine for a little bit but then I'd just fall off with it until I learned how to be more consistent with it.
