Shantae AU where Mimic is basically just Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty.

Mimic: Quick Shantae, I need you to T-take *urp* care of these Tinkerbats!

Shantae: I don’t know Uncle Mimic, I don’t wanna hurt anybody!

Mimic: It’s okay Shantae they’re just monsters! It’s okay for you to shoot them!

(Shantae shoots a fireball at a Tinkerbat, burning off his arm leaving him in serious pain.)

Tinkerbat: OH GOD WHY!

Risky: Harold’s bleeding to death! Someone call his wife and kids!

Shantae: You didn’t tell me they can talk!

these were the kind of characters designs they had when they did their first movie with humans as their main cast 

despite being cg all of the characters are visually distinct from each other and they look like 2d figures translated into a 3d environment
