I didn't give up; I just had very repetitive days this week. I have mostly been working at the counter and pondering whether that particular activity yields diminishing returns in terms of learning, once you grasp the basics of it. So, when it got quiet, I snuck to my laptop for some self-study. Efficient, but only for this week, as my teacher was taking a vacation.

Chill day at work, because the person in charge of me has this week off. avoided interacting with people during the morning since I was in a really bad mood, and instead made some progress on my worksheet; I researched different magnesium salts and their bioavailability.

Today, my mom and I burnt some pancakes (lol) and then burned some sulfur to get rid of pests in a shed, as pictured above. Knowledge of chemistry opens up endless possibilities for how to apply it.

I worked on Friday and Saturday. I must say, six-day work weeks are not my thing, especially since I am primarily there to learn, so it leaves me feeling unusually drained.

Today, I had two meetings. One was a monthly meeting about profitability, and the other was about my progress. In the latter I had a talk with my teacher, and they gave me some encouragement to pursue a master's degree in the field.

I also removed some incorrectly distributed pills from medicine pouches today. The pouches are distributed as part of a dose-dispensing service.

I don't want to miss a day, so I will write something real quick. I did some extra work that I didn't need to do today, because I missed that that part of a worksheet wasn't mandatory. No biggie, but it was also something that I found to be a chore, so I was mostly just slacking off at my desk and not really focusing on what I was supposed to do.

Today wasn't a particularly productive day for me, to be completely honest. It was quiet at work, and even though I drank a morning coffee, which I don't normally do, I felt sleepy.

My parents came over this evening, so I made some food. 🍲

It seems that I was not able to foresee how busy I would be with personal matters from the 5th to the 7th of April.

As far as work goes, I finished the medicine evaluation I started few weeks ago. I have been juggling so many projects that my head is spinning. Right now, I just need to breathe. 🥀

Work is so much fun, but oh so time-consuming! I feel like between sleeping, working, household chores, and managing relationships, there is barely any time to study or engage with hobbies. Days seem to fly by: I didn't even realize how many more hours I had when I was a full-time student. Unless something exciting happens at work, I might just be cursed to post half-empty posts during weekdays. Alternatively, I could try to be even more productive and possibly try to plan my free time in advance. I just have always had troubles sticking to any hourly schedules... ✍︎

I watched a lecture recording this evening, but unfortunately, it wasn't really anything noteworthy (pun intended?). I promise to snap more proof of actual studying this weekend, with hopes of concluding the week on a successful note.

Yesterday proved to be quite challenging. Numerous issues arose at work, adding to the weight of personal struggles already on my plate. Unfortunately, I couldn't muster up the energy to write or post anything. My only solace last night was the fact that even when the sky is dark, the stars still shine behind the clouds.

Another day off. Christian holidays are great, but this feels almost excessive. Anyway, I spent most of the day sleeping late, sitting in a car for hours, and making some tasty chicken quesadillas for dinner. Now, I will take a bath, take a melatonin supplement, and attempt to fix my sleeping schedule, as I need to wake up early for work tomorrow. 💤

I'm back because I'd feel bad if I quit this early. First things first, I have eaten well this Easter. Even my family was impressed by my appetite, considering my small stature. I was lucky to have Easter off. 🐇

Today, I spend most of my time watching lectures and writing down notes. I've grown quite fond of the format I've created: a blend of a mind map and traditional bullet points. Figuring out and mapping connections takes time, but for me, it is the most effective way to understand and remember the subject at hand.

I am not allowed to share exact details of what I did today, but I made significant progress in clearing my to-do list. Later this evening, I will submit an application for a master's degree (Which one? That shall remain a secret). I will also need to start studying for an entrance exam, just in case my papers aren't enough to secure admission. With enough determination and dedication, dreams can indeed become reality. 🪙

Edit: After further inspection, studying for the entrance exam won't be necessary unless other applicants are unusually qualified this year. I'm relieved, as it means I'll have more time to dedicate to my current projects.

I had such a fun day today. I’m currently evaluating a certain high-risk medication list. Even though I am not even close to writing a cohesive report about it, I figured out enough to continue my work at home. I’m thankful for such a unique learning opportunity.

My teacher also lended me some old psychology and physiology books, which was so sweet.

After dinner, I will do a short exercise session, shower and continue my work. 📝
