Tucked into Knocklyon, Perse has quietly built the kind of spot that works whether you’re grabbing an iced coffee on the go, meeting someone for lunch, or settling in for dinner later in the evening. A lot of cafés try to stretch themselves across breakfast, lunch, coffee, wine, and dinner , and most end up mediocre at all of them. Perse avoids that trap by keeping things simple, polished, and genuinely well executed.

The coffee setup itself is solid ,smooth iced coffees, properly presented flat whites, and consistently good texture on the milk. No burnt bitterness, no overcomplicated menu gimmicks. Just good coffee done properly. The food selection is genuinely strong with fresh ingredients.

Famous for its hot chocolates in the Winter. Perkys Coffee House is a year round hot spot in North Dublin. Located on the main street of Raheny, it find itself hugely popular with locals and passer-bys.

Perkys make all their treat in house and boast a large breakfast and lunch menu. So there is something for everyone. They offer indoor seating as well as a covered outdoor garden where you will be joined by bird chirping and hopefully a bit of sunshine.

I treated myself to a jammie dodger blondie and a silky flat white. Both were delicious and definitely a place I would revisit. The minute I stepped in I could sense the homely atmosphere and the service was impeccable.

Kennedys is a spot hidden within the TUD Grangegorman campus. A lively spot, fuelling the body and brains of several college students.

This is not just for the students, its located a 2 minute walk from the Broadstone Luas Stop so if your every waiting on your transport, you have this hidden gem calling your name!

I recently stopped by to grab a Flat White for my travels. A long queue moved efficiently and the friendly staff were on hand to ensure no wait.

We are on the Howth Coast today getting our coffee. OffGrid coffee situated on St. Laurence Road in Howth village is a dog friendly, vibrant and busy coffee shop providing top quality coffee (with the best coffee art!!) and a range of food options from acai bowls to toasties.

As soon as I opened the door I knew it was going to be good. Tables were full and a queue to order, which is always a good sign! I ordered a flat white and treated myself to an acai bowl. The coffee was perfect; temperature, texture and taste. The acai bowl was one of the freshest I've had and could not fault it.

Seeing locals comes in and the odd dog companion greeting the staff really added to the atmosphere. You could see the popularity of the café shine through.

I popped in and ordered a hazelnut latte along with us a butter crossaint. The coffee was perfectly balanced with the hazelnut flavour not over powering. The coffee flavour still came through nicely even with the hazelnut which can sometimes be over powering and too sweet. the crossaint was lovely and fresh which went well with the coffee. Stay With Us also offer a range of toasted sandwiches, other pastries and many types of coffee which caters to all needs.

Another positive note from my visit was the brilliant customer service. The staff were very friendly and quick getting my order ready. Having a good customer service builds the brands image and builds customer loyalty.

If you're exploring South Dublin and are in need of a caffeine fix, Brother Bean Coffee is a spot worth trying. Located in Newtown Park, Brother Bean has a relaxed neighborhood feel where people stop for their morning coffee, a quick snack, or a takeaway drink during a walk through the area.

I recently stopped by and ordered an iced latte along with a Biscoff Protein ball. The coffee itself was smooth and well balanced. The espresso flavour still came through nicely even with the ice and milk, which can sometimes dilute the taste in iced drinks. It wasn’t overly bitter or too sweet, and it tasted fresh and well made. The Biscoff Ball paired very nicely with it, The sweetness of the Biscoff balanced well with the slightly nutty, oat-based base of the protein ball. They also offer a range of toasties, fresh pastries, and even homemade ice pops, giving customers plenty of options for a quick snack or light bite.”

Another highlight of the visit was the friendly service. The staff were welcoming and efficient. Places like this often build loyal regular customers, and it’s easy to see why. The experience feels personal and informal, which adds to the overall charm.
