We need to start having an awkward conversation about how some people insist on saying Francesca is bi, biromantic ace or quite literally any label under the sun other than a lesbian. Like sure, bi rep is great, and I would have been cool with bi or pan Fran. Ace rep would be great too. But that is also not what we have here. And it's getting really annoying to see people refusing to see how obvious it is as if they actually need Francesca to look at the camera and say with all the words that she is a lesbian like the show itself isn't spelling it out. It's almost as if her being a lesbian didn't make sense for those people because (I'm being sarcastic here) she is too sweet, and femenine, and we all know that lesbians can't be sweet and femenine. Almost as if the fanbase is so male centered that to some people the idea of Fran being 100% not into men that way means that she loses all the appeal and is ruined because they can't use as a self-insert to obsess over dudes in any way possible.
“Well, it's not confirmed so she could still be bi”, again, do you truly need her to break the fourth wall and tell you directly that she is a lesbian? But in any case, let's say you're right and that in the future Francesca actually shows an ounce of romantic or sexual attraction towards a male character, that she is 100% confirmed to be bi. If that happened in the future, right now she is technically still not confirmed to be anything. So why does it make you so angry if some people say they believe a character that, according to you has not been said to be anything... is a lesbian? Why are you acting like her being a lesbian is a terrible thing, or something that doesn't make sense? Do you people realize how you sound like?
