When I was trying to find my patron I used meditation to try and make contact, it started off rough with me begging for their name. When he came I could feel his presence as it was close by my side, I felt as though he was looking down at me from we’re I was sitting.
It’s kind of hard to explain but I didn’t feel like I was in my room anymore, instead I felt as though I was in a field, it was desolate and somehow calm. He was there, standing behind me, I felt so small and weak, yet I didn’t feel scared. He was tall and wore a dark robe, I don’t remember his face that well but i remember his course black hair.
He stood by me, and I could tell he was watching me, so I asked what I had been trying to ask. “What is your name?”
I had taken an interest in Hellenism before I tried to find my patron, and I already had interest in hades. I constantly tried to learn about him and what he was like, so I already knew about his forms and his kingdom, I knew I was in the underworld.
At my question I felt a fond emotion spread through me as his energy radiated, he thought the fact that I was even asking was funny. He patted my shoulder, his hand felt heavy and strong even if I could only feel the presence of it, and he said. “You know it’s me.” Then I was back in my room.
Whenever I talk to hades he doesn’t say much, sometimes nothing, but I almost always feel his presence when I do, Whether it’s a small pat or him just listening beside me. I don’t call on him regularly, I believe his guidance should be taken seriously and with respect, so I only call him when I feel like his guidance is needed.
I hope this helps anyone trying to find there patron, this is one of the many ways you can make contact as there are others, like them sending signals, or showing up in dreams this method just happened to work for me.
