This is admittedly difficult to write.
I want to start by thanking the wonderful players that we’ve had -- whether you were one of the many that, unfortunately, went inactive or one of the few who’ve stuck this slump out with me. But I need to be honest; we are losing far more players than we’re gaining and we’re only a few weeks old. As much as Codes means to me, it also means that now is just not the time for this group -- and continuing to come onto a dead dash is depressing me. Thus, with a heavy heart, I will be closing it.
As I said, it comes down to the fact we’re losing more members than we’re gaining. That seems to be a pattern I’m seeing around the rpc right now -- perhaps because August is the last month of summer, where many are getting in their last minute vacations or preparing for the upcoming school year. I don’t know, honestly, but I think that’s a part of the reason why we’ve struggled. Even then, maybe there’s just something about this group. I’ve had a promo blog running at all hours of the day but it’s only brought in a handful of people.
Whatever the case, I do appreciate these past few weeks -- maybe, sometime in the future, I can bring this group back. For now, I’m throwing in the towel. I am extremely thankful to everyone who has been here and you can find me at @tonyredgrave if you want to keep in contact. Whether you do or don’t, I wish all of you will in your future roleplay endeavors and I’m sorry that I couldn’t make this group work.
