At first, she was wary about going to the festivities at all, but she had missed out on a lot while growing up, especially parties, so it was a great opportunity to catch up on times that were missed. She drank, she danced, she ate, and drank some more. To her surprise, Rose was actually enjoying herself. The alcohol, however, had snuck up on her and she needed to take a break from it all.
Rose found her way into one of the cabins and found an empty bed. It didn't seem like anyone was using it, or had, so she lied down with a gentle moan of satisfaction. The bed was very comfortable, to her surprise, then she rested her head on a pillow as she looked around the room. Something about it, it gave her a warmth that enveloped her. It was almost soothing. Suddenly there were footsteps that she could hear entering the room, causing her to lift her head to see who it was.
"Sorry, this one's occupied. If you need the room, I'll be out of here once the nausea waves calm down."

She moved her messy hair from one side to another, then smiled softly when the woman returned to the room. “Thank you so much”, she took the bottled water and removed the cap to lightly sip, “I’m Rose, by the way. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you before”. { @witchravenkenner }

“No, you’re fine - I just came in to find the sweater I left in here. Getting a little chilly out there,” Raven smiled. “You don’t look like you should be going anywhere right now, so please just stay there.” The sweater was easily located on the chair where she’d thrown it, and as she shrugged it on she gave the woman another evaluating look. If she was going to be really ill, it was hard to leave her in good conscience.
“Do you need anything? I can bring a bucket in and leave it by the bed just in case. You should probably get some water in you too, and maybe a couple aspirin. Your hungover self will thank you for it.”
She placed her head back down onto the pillow as the other woman went to grab her belongings. Her eyes remained on her movements despite the room slightly spinning. Rose was beginning to regret those extra shots. Damn that one guy with the tattoos whose name she couldn't remember at that moment.
"Ohmyheart, please be still. Water sounds so good right now. I would appreciate it so much".

Stepping into the cabin to avoid a certain someone Lex closed the door right behind her as she kept her ear close to it trying to listen for the voice or footsteps of the other. Looking back at the other laying in the bed she raised her brow, “You don’t lock doors in your world?” She asks knowing full well this was a scene that could turn dark rather quickly if were someone else who walked in. “Try throwing some water on that face, this heat and alcohol can knock anyone on their ass.”
Rose gradually pushed herself to sit up in the bed, feeling the room continue to move while she knew she was still. "This is what I get for letting loose", she blew out a breath and ran her fingers through her hair, praying to whatever God there was for the waves to fade. "I usually lock my door, but this isn't my place and I came prepared," Rose referred to her hidden gun and knife for a just in case scenario. She glanced over at the other woman with one squinted eye open, "So what brings you in here - hide'n seek?"

Hayley sat on the dock by the water, feet swinging just over the water level as she took a swig from the bottle in her hands. The hustle and bustle of the party behind her muffled the sound of the footsteps walking down the dock towards her. “Come to join the “I need a break from people” party over here?”
Rose loosely crossed her arms over her chest as she walked around, familiarizing herself with the area. It had been years that she was away from New Orleans and what she did remember wasn't much, so absorbing everything she could felt like it was something she needed to do. The further she walked she found herself by the dock, she could see she wasn't alone. That didn't bother her any. Rose walked along and kept to herself until she heard the mystery woman address her.
"I'm more of the 'I'm a loner, so I'm just wandering around because I got nothing better to do' party", she laughed gently, "but there's nothing wrong with needed a break now and then".
Rowan stood near one of the many fires that had popped up and the smell of the burning logs, the noise of the happy partiers mixed with booze just made her feel more at home than anything had since she came back without her husband. Her baby was grown, her granddaughter as well, she was caught outside of her own time and watching her pack suffer from her husband and hers absence. “This just brings back memories.” She mentions with a smile to the figure that walked up near her, this was the kind of mood the crescents should have had for the last thirty years and hadn’t been for Richard they likely would have.

Rose kept to herself most of the night, taking in everything that was happening around her. The majority of her life was a series of rules that needed to be followed and always keeping an eye open at all times. Everything that was engrained in her DNA told her to be on edge and be wary of everyone, but for the first time she was allowing herself to ease up. Rose noticed a fire that was started not too far from where she was and since it didn't appear too crowded, she figured she would go over and enjoy it. There was always something relaxing about watching flames. As she stepped within closer proximity to the other woman by the fire, she focused on her as she spoke.
Rose smiled, "It does, doesn't it? It also brings a sense of — comfort, if that makes any sense".

This was Lizzie’s first real party since becoming a heretic and she was feeling grateful that one of Hope’s first tasks was to help Lizzie control her newfound powers so the sounds and smells that surrounded her didn’t bother her too much. What she didn’t account for was that with heightened senses came a heightened metabolism and heightened tolerance. As she stood at the keg for what felt like the hundredth time that night, she let out a frustrated groan when she finally got the faucet and all that came out was foamy liquid. “Of course. Just my luck.” Tossing the faucet down, she turned away from the keg. “Unless you were looking for a cup full of foam, I’d suggest looking somewhere else” She began looking around for a moment. There’s gotta be another one around her somewhere.”
There was nothing else going on for Rose and she kept hearing whispers about some party, so she figured why not drop in and see what the fuss was. After she got herself dressed nicely, but comfortably, she made her way to the waterfront. The music was loud, games were being played, there were more people than she thought would be there, and there was food. Before she did anything, Rose wanted a drink and spotted a keg not too far from where she was. As she made her way toward the keg, a petite blonde caught her attention. Her lips tightly pursed in disappointment, but the night was still young, "Thanks for the heads up," she said before glancing around the area, trying to see where other people might be gathering. "I think there might be another one further down that way, over by where that group is playing corn hole," Rose nodded toward the direction, then began heading in that direction.
She fell onto the mat with a force that almost knocked the wind from her lungs. Regret had begun to sink in. 'Why the hell did I agree to this?' She knew exactly why. Hand to hand combat was her weak point and it needed to be corrected. Rose slowly peeled herself from the floor, blue eyes shot a slight glare at her current sparring partner, "This is exactly why I prefer my guns and arrows. Long range is the way to go".
