but surely, surely it can't be too naive of me to think it it shouldn't be so hard to just...not talk to minors??? what do adults even have in common with most children? why is it so common to see people online turn out to have acted sexually inappropriate?

it's absolutely horrifying. I never talk about it but I was groomed once at 14 for art labour and it continued into 15 by someone in that same community who acted sexually towards me. person a being in their mid 30s and person b being in their mid 20s. I've slowly realised so many people I meet out here also have similar experiences, this is not a unique thing to have happen and that's fucking insane???

we're all scared and angry about the internet becoming more restricted and social media bans being enforced. but politicians are able to weaponise the whole "protecting the kids" sentiment because of this shit

what can even be done to stop this. people having to fucking post psa's to remind people to not get involved with kids because it's wrong??? isn't that fucking common sense???

at this point what other fucking predators are tucked away hiding behind the team. they have so much explaining to do if they even hope to regain their image and then some if they want people to trust them again

if you need a tl;dr to the situation, 3 people behind the team have now been provably outed without a single doubt as enablers of abuse/bigotry or as groomers/predators to underaged children in the community. the exposé has not been all at once. the perpetrators involved were literally a part of removing fabsol's content from the game to denounce his actions even though they damn well knew they were doing the exact same thing or worse

I've been so angry and upset all day. why are so many adults online like this. why why fucking why
