ᴀʟʟ ɪs ʟᴇғᴛ | Logy & Cocona
So much happened in the span of a second.
A sharp pain shot off along the side of his head and another dull throb pinched at his elbow. With a groan that could move mountains, Logy lifted his spared arm and pretended that he had not felt the soft cushion of breast tissue as he moved. (Oh jeez… Please tell me she didn’t notice that.) Eyes snapped shut, he used the flat of his palm as a poor compress, breathing through the agony searing across his temple. Something had managed to clock him before the much squishier collision with the girl, but he was too out of it to even wonder what.
Once the ache lessened into something he could think through, Logy took an awkward shuffle back and sighed. (It’s way too crowded here.) Bashfully, he glanced up at the girl he had never meant to feel up and chewed at his lip. “Sorry. I shouldn’t have spaced out in the middle of the road like that.” Never mind that she had been the one who failed to pay attention and ran into him. (Points for managing to hit a stationary target, I guess.)
"Are you— is your board okay, too?" he wondered, catching sight of it out of the corner of his eye. He had to marvel at it. How exactly did it propel itself forward if not with wheels?
Cocona was a bit distracted by pain and falling, true, but her eyes couldn't help but to shoot wider open, at the feeling of a hand across her chest. As Logy moved back, she did for a moment, but her face was quickly concerned. He had taken a pretty rough hit, by the looks of it!
"Woah, hey, are you okay?" Cocona ignored the heat lingering in her cheeks to look at his head where he held it. With only slight hesitation, she reached up to put hers over his, "Let me look at it.." She instructed him as she gently slid it out of the way. She winced at the sight of the knot, but tried to make sure it wasn't too visible: she didn't want to freak him out.
"The board will be fine, it can take quite a beating. But, you need to get this taken care of. Come on." She was quick to start leading him away... She shared her home with two others she.. well she hadn't really spoken with them yet, she just knew of them. But, either way, she could at least help this guy out, after plowing him over in the middle of the street.
