It makes me very very sad to see all the new top fans that are coming in and beginning to treat Tyler and josh much like directioners treated the members of one direction. Theyâre so young that I think they donât really grasp the concept that theyâre not untouchable. The stuff we say and do affects them Ya know? Like Itâs NOT ok to grope them itâs NOT ok to fetishize them itâs NOT ok to think of them as gods because theyâre human. Just like us and they need good honest support that doesnât include âlick me Tyler!!!!!â Or some other sick comment on a platform thatâs public where they could easily see it. The disconnect that Iâm seeing with the influx of younger fans feels like itâs starting to affect the band. letâs just stop with this bs and go back to supporting each other like it was supposed to be. They need to be respected again.

Anon asked: âI think we need to talkâ prompt
âI think we need to talk.â
John Winchester looked up from the papers he had laid out on the kitchen table when his oldest son spoke. He looked at his wife wife questioning eyes, but she didnât appear to know what was going on either.
âAlright, Dean,â He said, taking his reading glasses off. âWhatâs up?â
âWell,â Dean stopped. He took a deep breath and started again. âYou know how I played football my freshman year and really liked it, but then tried out for baseball and realized that I liked that way more?â
âYes.â
âOkay, well itâs like that, except itâs not,â Dean said, like everything made absolute sense. John stared at him for a moment, then looked to Mary again.
âDean, youâre going to have to explain a little bit more,â She said taking a seat next to John.
âOkay. Um, you know how I love pie, but every now and then you make a cake and I think that itâs just the best thing in the universe and I swear Iâll never eat any other kind of dessert again?â
âDean, could you maybe stop with analogies and get to the point?â John asked. Dean blushed and nodded.
âRight okay. I, uh. Me and Cas are dating.â
âOkay.â John picked his glasses back up and Mary went back to what she was making for dinner. Dean remained where he was, mouth opening and closing like a fish.
âThatâs it?â He asked. âI just came out to you and all you have to say is okay?â
âWell itâs not like it was much of a secret,â John said. âYou two made out in front of the house for fifteen minutes the other night. I thought I was going to have to spray you with the hose.â Deanâs face turned even more red and John chuckled a little.
âIf he makes you happy, weâre happy for you, Dean.â
âThanks, Dad.â John nodded and went back to his papers.
âOh, and Dean,â He said, stopping his son before he got all the way out of the room. âThe next time you want to keep your relationship a secret, maybe tell Cas not to leave his underwear in your floor.â
Deanâs squeak of embarrassment and stuttered excuses were drowned out by John and Maryâs laughter.
Anon asked: For hs au angst- maybe something where dean and Cas are best friends and the entire school knows Cas likes dean except for dean (too paranoid about people realizing he likes Cas to notice) and some school bullies give Cas a fake love letter from dean. Cas tells dean he feels the same way and dean is really confused. The bullies laugh and Cas realizes itâs fake and runs away and starts angsting all over the place so dean has to calm him down and then happy ending where dean says he likes Cas too
Castiel walked into the high school on the first day, keeping his head down and trying to stay pout of everyoneâs way. He almost made it to his locker before he felt hands on his back, shoving him. He fell into the floor, smacking his head against the linoleum. He looked just in time to see the jerseys of several football players go by and hear their laughter.
âStay out of our way, fag!â One of them said and the others laughed again.
Castiel said and pushed himself up a little, quickly gathering his books. Another pair of hands appeared and he looked up into the face of his best friend. They stacked the books and Dean helped him up off of the floor.
âYou okay, Cas?â He asked, brushing his fingers over the red spot on his forehead. Castiel hissed a little, but nodded.
âIâm fine.â Dean looked doubtful, but he didnât push.
âI went by your house to pick you up this morning,â He said, as the continued down the hall. âBut your mom said you had already left.â
âI walked,â Castiel told him. âI figured youâd have Sam and Lisa and I didnât want to get in the way.â
âYouâre never in the way, Cas,â Dean leaned against the lockers next to Castielâs. âBesides, me and Lisa broke up.â
âWhat? Why?â Dean shrugged.
âIt was just getting old, I guess.â It was Castielâs turn to give the doubtful look. Dean laughed a little and threw his arm around his friendâs shoulders.
âSeriously, Cas, we just werenât into each other anymore. It was summer fling.â
âRight.â They stopped in front of Castielâs home room and he studied Dean for a moment. âYouâd tell me if you werenât okay?â
âCourse I would.â Castiel nodded and gave Dean a small smile before going into his classroom. He took a seat beside Charlie, who immediately started questioning him.
âSo, Dean and Lisa broke up.â Castiel rolled his eyes at her and pulled his book from his bag.
âAnd?â
âAnd? Heâs single now. You have to go for it!â Charlie exclaimed.
âThere is nothing to âgo for,â Charlie. Dean is straight.â
âOh, puh-lease. Itâs so obvious that you guys have something going on!â
âAll thatâs going on is our friendship,â Castiel mumbled, hiding behind his book. Charlie was quiet for and a moment later she was in front of him, gently lowering his book so that she could meet his eyes.
âYou should at least give it a try, Cas. The worst thing that could happen is that he says no.â
âNo, the worst thing that could happen is that our friendship would be ruined. Just let it go. Nothing is ever going to happen.â Castiel buried his face in his book again, hoping that sheâd go away. Charlie sighed and ruffled his hair lightly before moving back to her desk.
Castiel hoped that that would be the only time his and Deanâs relationship would be called into question this year.
~*~
The first few weeks of the semester went smoothly enough. Dean remained single, though he did hook up with quiet a few girls when he had the chance. Mostly, though, he spent time with Castiel and Sam, watching movies and playing video games. Castiel didnât even mind when Dean chose the same five movies over and over again, he was just happy to bask in his presene for a while.
The bullies didnât give Castiel much trouble either. Occasionally he would be shoved into lockers or have cruel names thrown at him, but they ignored him for the most part.
One day, Castiel was walking down the hall, a bit late because he had stayed behind in his English class to ask about an assignment, when he was suddenly surrounded by a group of boys in jerseys.
âWell, look what we have here, boys,â Gordon Walker said, an evil smile spreading over his face.
âPlease, leave me alone,â Castiel said, looking at the floor, as if making eye contact would cause them to attack.
âPlease leave me alone,â Gordon mocked, stepping closer. âWe donât want fags like you in our school, Novak. Watching you and Winchester together, makes me sick.â
âThere is no romantic connection between Dean and myself,â Castiel told them, hoping that it would sway them enough to leave him alone.
âWeâve still got to teach you a lesson. You donât need to try to recruit anyone else.â
Castiel wasnât sure which of them struck first, but before he could try to get away they were all hitting him. He curled innon himself and tried to protect his face, praying that they would be bored with him soon.
âHey!â All the jocks froze as a voice echoed down the hall. Castiel caught a glimpse of Bobby Singer, one of the teachers and a close friend of Deanâs family, storming towards them. âDonât you try to run from me! Get back here, youâre all going to the office.â
Castiel ended up sitting by himself outside the principals office with an ice pack on his face. The door opened and the other boys filed out.
âWeâre going to get you for this, Novak,â Gordon growled as he walked by. Bobby laid a hand on Castielâs shoulder.
âYou alright, kid?â Castiel nodded. âYou let me know if those botys bother you again, okay?â
âYes, sir. Thank you.â
The principal made Castiel fill out an incident report and informed him that the other boys had been expelled for three days and would sit out several games. Castiel thanked him and went to class.
He was getting his stuff out of his locker at the end of the day when gentle hands grabbed him and spun him around. Castiel looked at the floor as Dean took in the bruises on his face.
âJesus, Cas,â He said, softly.
âIâm okay. Bobby caught them before they could cause any serious harm.â Dean shook his head, smiling a little.
âI canât leave you alone for a second, can I?â
He threw his arm over Castielâs shoulder and they walked out to the parking lot, Dean questioning Castiel about what happened as they went.
~*~
Castiel opened his locker and a folded piece of notebook paper fluttered to the floor by his feet. He placed the books that he didnât need in the locker and shoved the rest into his backpack before stooping to pick it up.
Cas,
I donât really know how to say this out loud, so I tried to make it make since here.
I like you. I have for a long time, I just didnât realize it. I tried to fight it atb first because youâre my best friend and I donât want to lose you, but Iâm sick of fighting it.
I want to be with you, Cas. Let me know if you feel the same way.
Dean.
Castiel stared at the note, shocked. He looked down the hall and saw Dean leaning against his locker. Their eyes met and he smiled at Castiel in a way that made his heart race.
Castiel took a deep breath, summoned all of his courage and walked down the hall to him.
âI do.â Deanâs brow furrowed in confusion and he tilted his head a bit.
âWhat?â
âYour note,â Castiel said, dread filling his stomach as he held the paper out. âI want to be with you, too.â
âCas,â Dean said, looking at the note, then meeting his eyes again. âI didn'tââ
Loud laughter echoed down the hall. Castiel and Dean both looked at the same time and saw Gordon and the others watching them. The note slipped from Castielâs fingers as he realized what was really going on.
âCasââ
He didnât stay to hear whatever Dean was going to say. He ran for the quickest exit, ignoring the shouts of complaint that came from the students he pushed out of his way.
How could he have been so stupid? What could possibly make him think that Dean actually wanted him? He had ruined everything.
He wondered if Dean would be willing to overlook this and continue being friends or if they would just never speak again. He was so worried about what happened that he didnât notice the car pulling up behind or the boy calling his name.
âCas!â Castiel cried out in surprise as Dean grabbed his shoulders and spun him around.
âIâm sorry,â Castiel babbled. âI donât know how I could have been so stupid. Obviously you would neverââ
He was interrupted by Deanâs mouth on his his. The kiss lasted just long enough to take his breath away and leave him wanting more.
âI may not have written that note,â Dean said, softly, his lips still brushing against Castielâs as he spoke. âBut it was exactly what I could never say.â
Castiel wrapped his arms around Deanâs neck and kissed him again, making a mental note to thank Gordon and his cronies for bringing them together.
