This is LinkedUniverse 101. welcome! 

“Linked Universe'” is simply an AU (alternate universe) fan story about various incarnations of Link featuring adventure, drama, and action.

Plot:

the most general plot: unbeknownst to the 9 heroes, Dark Link is causing trouble which caused their meeting and needs to be stopped.

Setting:

Locations vary.   circumstances have allowed the heroes to cross time and place as a result of Dark Link’s medaling. so it’d be much like Hyrule Warriors setting where the lands across time and place are accessible.

Characters:

I combined several versions of Link together despite some of them being a separate incarnation in canon, this was solely based on design and aesthetic. They are post-adventure, so they have their experience under their belt (with very minor exceptions for the sake of entertainment). you can see the character bios here: originalsketches1stpost

Origin:

I watched the movie ‘the 13th warrior’ and I found the interaction between the characters the most interesting part of the movie. The spirit of this AU is Inspired by the 13th warrior, and all around the idea of comradery, and brothers-in-arms. Simultaneously  I was drawing essentially the same character, Link  (the Legend of Zelda),  but adding as much variation to him as possible as seen throughout the series. That got me thinking, despite the fact that he is one character, the various personalities shaped by the various adventures make them very different. So I wanted to explore that more and see what kind of character interaction would result. here is where it started ->[original sketches]
