“What if I want you to bite me?” He stayed over her not really caring anymore if she got the bottle back. The flirty side of him coming to light as the promise of something more exciting than stealing food presented itself. “Or you know I can bite you if you prefer it that way. Just call me…fuck what’s the name of that one sparkly vampire guy that had girls foaming at the mouth a while back?” That ruined his line but eh, she got the point.

angel smirked slightly as he kept his face close to hers. she had never minded their flirty banter. in fact, she rather enjoyed it. “oh good lord, will. did you just compare yourself to edward cullen?” she laughed. “but i can’t say i don’t like a good biting now and then,” she teased with a wink. “plus you’re much better than edward.”

Being a giant had it’s advantages and he used his lanky arms to his advantage leaning over her completely to paw at the bottle before her question distracted him. This close she got the full force of his eyes and the smirk on his face was nothing short of telling. “Oh I’m sure you could think of something.” In the moment it took him to say that he finally reached the bottle. “Ha! Got it!” 

angel laughed as he leaned over her to get the bottle. she looked up, letting her green eyes meet his, smiling at the smirk on his face. they always had fun together, there was at least that. “oh yeah? don’t make me bite you, will,” she teased. she pouted when he snatched the bottle away. “willllllll,” she whined. 

He was not shy about looking her over. If she shrunk under his gaze it would be telling of her constitution and will. His voice was all but a growl and full of promise. “I’m sure you could. But even so. You really don’t want to mix with me. I’m not exactly the kind of man you want to keep casual company with.” The game was on.

angel met his stare right back as he looked her over. she wasn’t that shy little girl she’d been when her parents had died. she could fake her confidence with the best of them. not to mention she wasn’t going to let him win the battle of wills. “well there’s lots of people who say that. and no doubt you’re one of them. but that’s half the fun, isn’t it?” she asked playfully. 

“Do I? I don’t know you might have to convince me, babe.” He chuckled as he gave her banter right back at her. The back and forth was fun. Or it was until she jacked his jack. “Uh excuse you I wasn’t done with that!” He reached for it again still smiling like a loon. 

“oh yeah? and what exactly would convince you of that?” she asked playfully with a tilt of her head before chuckling. she took a large swig as she looked at him. “excuse you, who managed to nab it again?” she asked jokingly, trying to hold it out of his reach. even if she had a short reach of her own. 

“Ha business isn’t bad. The opposite in fact. I’m expanding.” He had been working over time to replenish the wealth of the Savages that was lost in the mansion fire and it was paying off. A smirk formed on his lips and he chuckled. “Some would call it exciting, others would call it ill advised. You’re not worried then? About the tension between our organizations?”

“well isn’t that a relief,” she chuckled. she left the expenses of the cobras to others. finances were not her forte. she could barely handle her own personal ones. she smirked back and shrugged. “well tomato, tomahto, right? well in general? yeah. at the moment? i think it’ll be fine. and i can handle myself if i need to.”

He chuckled at her response. She seemed to have it all figured out and who was he to say otherwise? He had no idea what Cobra soldiers did aside from occasionally beating up people. “Remind me to never get on your bad side. But I’m honored that you consider me worth your time. Or is it the mac and cheese that’s really got you busy?” He took another swig of Jack and returned her wink with one of his own.

she may still be relatively new in terms of some of the others ( she’d only been around a couple years ) but she knew the drill. she let out a laugh. “oh babe i’m sure you already know that,” she teased, scrunching her face up. “you caught me. totally the mac and cheese. just kidding. you’re pretty cool,” she told him, taking the jack back.

“oh you could?” george smiled, overwhelmingly happy that there was a space for his car. obviously, he could have gone to his sister for this, but, they’d fallen out and he wasn’t prepared to go to her first. sometimes, when it came to her, he really could be stubborn. “that’s great. thank you so much, sure sure,” he nodded as he brought the paper and pen to him and filled out the form. “er, i don’t really have a bank card so much - i was planning on just paying cash, is that going to be okay? i have enough.”.

angel smiled back at him and nodded. “yeah for sure. no problem,” she told him honestly. she rarely turned down a customer unless they were super super busy. she chuckled at his comment and watched him fill out the paperwork. “so how long has the light been on?” she asked. “oh no worries. cash is totally fine,” she told him. 

only a few nights had passed since cora had returned to valdez, and she had yet to do something for herself. luckily, her mother had graciously volunteered to watch over sophia for the night. cora spent the past few hours getting ready, and she was not holding anything back tonight. she has had little to no socialization in the past 6 years (since she had technically been on the run), so she was desperate for any interaction she could get. she grabbed her black velvet purse and strutted out of the house in her favorite black heels, making sure to lock the door behind her. “you don’t happen to know of anywhere fun to go on a friday night, do you?” she questioned the first person she saw.  

angel had managed to look relatively nice for a fun night out, though easily ready to kick someone if she needed to with her tall, chunky heeled butterfly boots. she wasn’t positive where she even wanted to go. the nightclub was in savage territory and she wasn’t sure she wanted to touch that for the evening. she paused when she heard someone ask her a question and turned towards the woman. “depends on your idea of fun, really,” she answered. 

Attractive. Oh yes. He was very attractive and he knew it. That fact had served him well over the years. Cobra, Savage, civilian. It didn’t matter. Affiliation meant nothing in the wake of desire and he knew just how desirable he could be. Still, it wasn’t like he just gave himself away for the asking. After all, he was a business man. He smirked, confidence shining through like a beacon. “You shouldn’t be surprised. I go where business is good. And today, it just so happens to be here.” He gave her a quick discerning look. “And you? What brings you to neutral ground today?”

she raised her eyebrows at him with a small smile and took a sip of her drink. she wasn’t surprised he knew he was attractive. he’d have to be to have that attitude. but it only made her more curious and intrigued. “fair enough i suppose. would be silly to stay where business isn’t good just because it’s your turf,” she commented. “just wanted a change of scenery i guess. and it’s always exciting to mix people.”

“2 huh. Well that doesn’t give us much time does it? If something does happen aren’t you like, I don’t know, required to be there or whatever? Since you’re a soldier and all?” He never really paid attention to what being a soldier or one of the other more physical positions of the Cobras entailed but he could imagine.

angel scoffed. “i can’t be everywhere. i showed up. did my duty, blah blah blah,” she half joked. “i’m sure they’ll call me if they need me,” she added with a shrug. “besides i’m typically driver for things but sometimes i’m needed to beat someone up or whatever,” she explained. she was further down on the list for physical stuff since she was small, even if she was scrappy. “and i’m busy,” she teased with a wink.

“You should. I’ve been riding since I was about 20 or so? Easier to weave in and out of traffic and since you’re a bit of a speed demon like myself, it’s the best option. Though nothing gets me going like a nice engine in a car so I can see why you started there.” She chuckles and nods in agreement. “I don’t doubt it. Buy this place and make it your own!” 

“i’ve always liked the idea of it. more streamlined, weaving in and out. but there’s definitely nothing like the sound a good engine. mmm. yeah i just kind of fell in love with her. though i also want a 67 chevy impala too. i swear i need a whole garage for the cars i want,” she laughed. she tilted her head. “i hadn’t really thought about it. i usually end up spending too much money on my car. but i guess i probably could.”

Tas laughed a long with the mechanic, leaning back against the counter. “Nothing wrong with that. The faster the better.” She took the keys from Angel with a satisfied grin, nodding her agreement. Tas would be lost without her bike. The squad car was a work necessity. “I feel like I always see you running the show anyway so I think you’re right.” 

“see you’re speaking my language,” she chuckled playfully, resting her arms on the counter when the other woman took the keys from her. “you know i considered getting a bike at one point. it’s on my list,” she added. she nodded. “oh i am 110% they’d be lost without me.”
