Pride month is starting soon and I want to help the community out with

I’m very detached at the moment for a lot of personal life reasons. Reality is kind but demanding to me right now so I don’t have a lot of room for fandoms at all.

And I already went through all stages of grief roughly a year ago when the hyper fixation left me. I desperately tried to cling to it but it faded and vanished and with it the urge to produce fanart. I had a few small boosts now and then but they felt shallow.

So I focused solely on my original art.

The reason I’m writing about this is that yesterday I saw by accident after I unsubscribed from Instagrams automatic mailing (I left there for good for unknown time), that a follower reached out to me, asking where I am, they need my art.

And I felt surprised and a bit flattered for a second. Through all those artificially filtered emotions on social media with their likes and just… numbers you rarely feel the real appreciation. The brain is trained to replace human emotions with a heart emoji. Which made me honestly even more depressed, just thinking about this.

Because I was in the spiral running after any form of recognition. Any form of attention and be it just a thumbs up or so. It’s exhausting.

So I decided to take care of myself and projects I love now. I will probably post some art again but when I simply don’t know.

I’m also pretty sure I’m not the only one who feels this way.

So just again to make it clear.

And easier for those who do not agree:

There is this easy thing called: ignoring.

I know it’s hard for some because pouring comments over social media like lettering diarrhoea is the only way some of you learned how to express emotions.

Also reading a post and reflecting on it for a moment is for most users impossible as well because it indicates I have to use my brain for once and not just as a filler for the vacuum in my head.

But don’t worry for those who don’t manage any of those two things, or the third option to just ASK WHAT I MEANT with my phrasing,

I got you.

Be an unwanted presence in my post today and I’ll block you forever!

No worries to see me anymore, and I’ll probably not worrying at all. Because the beauty of modern technology is with me.
