Hey y’all! This is going to be an art blog focused on whatever seems to be capturing my brain at any particular time, I’m trying to be less critical about my own work so it will be a mix of finished pieces and occasional WIPs! As I get more used to Tumblr’s interface I’ll be putting in links here and there to some of my various socials, though that won’t be for a while. I’m going to be doing mainly Pokémon and OC centered content, though expect to see COD and Stand Still, Stay Silent featured on my blog occasionally! I do also create create more personal work centered around insects and nature, but no promises that any of that art will be posted!

Some quick artist info- •I mainly use He/Him pronouns

•I’m Finnish-American! A lot of my characters are Finnish/have some relation to Finland.

•I’m going into college at the end of this year, so my work flow will be pretty inconsistent for a time

Putting out another call for requests! I’ve been wanting to draw more people’s characters lately and I think it’ll be good for getting out of my slump!

-Anthro characters and Pokémon only please!-

Just to note, I’m a very busy college student and only really get to do digital work every weekend! I do also have a variable motivation so these requests will come out at a pretty slow rate.

1) Part of an art trade with my bestie @/Sillyboysalmon! Definitely consider giving him a follow his work is so incredible and vibrant!

2) A lurantis-frosmoth design for an irl friend, considering taking customs sometime in the future!

3) unfinished glameow design! I’m unsure if I want to sell her as an adopt or keep her

I said I’d be making a post about these yesterday, so here we are lol (ignore how late this is)

I recently joined a daily art chat where the members are prompted to draw Pokémon from a randomly selected pool, and it’s been quite a lot of fun! I’ll be going in order of when I made these, I’ve been trying to keep up with a drawing each day but a few of these were done quite late.

1.) Dane and Indy

These are Dane and Indy! Indy (the phanpy) was probably the most difficult for me to design, I’ve never been all that good with colors so I was definitely nervous about making something that looked decent. They’re two best friends who are obsessed with becoming explorers when they are older.

2.) Sterling and Soleil

These two are probably my favorite duo from the batch, Sterling (the Galarian Rapidash) is Soleil’s adoptive father and was previously a traveling merchant before settling down at the town they’re in now. Soleil is pretty closed off and a bit moody, but despite that is constantly getting dragged into whatever schemes Dane and Indy are cooking up to get into their local guild.

3.) Nicholas and Bear

I don’t have too much to say about these two, Nicholas (the Primarina) is a rookie explorer who is being mentored by Bear, a grumpy, more experienced member of their local guild. I’ll probably be doing more work on Nick’s design some time in the future when I’m a bit more free.

4.) Custard

The most recent from this batch of designs, and likely my favorite. I was rushing a little while making her since I’d been pretty busy during my birthday but I ended up liking the final design quite a bit. Custard is a cocky bounty hunter who spends a lot of time on the road going from town to town, she can be pretty stubborn and is a lot more comfortable working alone.

It’s been a rollercoaster of a year, but probably one of the biggest in terms of art improvement in the 10+ years that I’ve been an artist. Recently, I’ve been a lot more focused on Pokémon art than I have birthday stuff, so today’s art isn’t super polished or anything, just a quick happy doodle!

That’s basically it for today lol, tomorrow I’ll be posting a bunch of pmd designs that I’ve been pumping out for the daily art chat I’ve been a part of.

I’m hoping to continue the art-high that I’ve been running on for the past few days as I transition back into dorm living for my 2nd semester (mostly math this time around! Very excited that I do not have to write more essays 💀)

Hey y’all! I hope everyone’s had a good start for the new year, it’s going to take a long time for me to get used to saying 2025 lol

I’ve just got a few things to show today, some requests that I’ve completed and some art for a friend, so let’s get on to the actual pieces.

1.) A finished request for @raptorscreams, I don’t usually draw rock/crystal structures so this character was an absolute treat!

2.) A finished request of Dew for @hoodies-monster-ranch, this character has such a cool design! Loved drawing them from start to finish.

3.) And a recent PMD character I created for the ever-lovely @sillyboysalmon! This started out as a quick warm-up drawing for a Pokémon chat I joined but I loved his design so much I decided to gift him to Salmon! Can’t wait to draw more of this sassy guy in the future.

So, it’s been.. a while since I last posted, college drained me a lot quicker than I had anticipated (but I’d say I had a pretty good semester!). Art ended up taking a massive sideline to my studies, I’m a double major in accounting and finance which can make it difficult to squeeze in my hobbies and I had to put everything on pause altogether when finals rounded the corner (long story short I kicked ASS y’all 4.0 gpa defended)

I wanted to throw out a quick update post to let anyone interested know where I’m at currently with this blog, I’ll be posting an art dump that includes completed requests sometime within the coming weeks. Hopefully my schedule in the next semester will make it easier on me to create more art, I’d love to get more active within the commewnity as well as in general.

Going back to requests, they’re almost done! They’ve just been in need of some touching up so hopefully I’ll be able to get those out soon, alongside whatever else I’ve made during my semester.
