Hillary Clinton Defends Call To Deport Child Migrants

You know, the migrants she created by terrorizing Central America with coups and arms deals.

Happening right now in Hong Kong - the police is firing rubber bullets and using batons, pepper spray, tear gas and water cannons on peaceful protesters who took the streets to protest against the passing of a controversial law which would allow China to extradite people.

Protesters set up camps, gave out snacks and surgical masks before all of this started. Tanks are apparenrly out in the streets as well and people are being hurt as I write this, but they are not backing down.

Most of the protesters are young people, university students, even high schoolers.

Meanwhile, the police had since blocked other ambulance vehicles from passing through and arrested the injured.

While it is easy to twist relationships (I agree with you about Wincest), I think it’s not for nothing that Destiel is such a big, popular pairing.

I’m going to try to give a little sample of the millions of reasons why we are so many to believe Destiel is a love story.

First of all, we all can notice that Dean has the capacity to form very strong bonds with the people around him. He quite quickly “adopts” people, and give a lot into his relationships, and will be extremely loyal and dedicated. For someone with such strong views of what a family is, he is quick to welcome people into his own, and consider them brothers and sisters. We all know he’d be ready to die for basically anyone, and he expresses and shows love (voluntarily or unconsciously) toward them quite a lot. Benny, Kevin, Charlie are just a few. Let’s have a little Dean love fest because we can all use it.

So of course Dean and Cas have a very strong relationship too. But I think there is a reason why so many people believe that it is more than that. It’s by looking at Dean’s other relationships, and looking at all their history together, that for me, personally, it’s very clear they have something more. And I know I’m not the only one.

I could write pages and pages of about when and why and how, but it’s late and I’m tired. But for me, the thing with Destiel is that the relationship somehow became much more than what anyone expected. I don’t know if it was because some writers wanted it, or the special chemistry between Jensen and Misha, or the story itself becoming bigger than one person or even a whole crew, but I feel like something happened with those two characters that nobody really expected. As I have said many times before, there are many, many different people working on the show, different writers, directors, actors, producers, etc, and in my opinion, one of the “problems” - or maybe why Destiel is so peculiar - is that some of them want a canon romantic relationship between Dean and Cas, while some really don’t. And we all know there are more than just that one aspect of the show that lack continuity because of the changing writers and directors, and it’s normal, that’s how it works. But it makes Destiel a little too close to reality for it’s own good.

Misha said it himself, actually: they all know it, but no one really talks about it. They all know that Dean and Cas share something more than what they share with anyone else. They all know that it’s really, really on the line. But no one talks about it. They just write and direct and act, and somehow, even if they don’t mean it to, for thousands of people it’s plain fucking obvious that they’re head over heels in love with each other. Yeah, some people don’t see it. But for others, it’s so fucking right there that it’s impossible to believe they’re not doing it on purpose. 

Now, let’s examine so facts.

About twisting things: yes, of course, sometimes joking about something doesn’t mean it’s real, but still, sometimes they kind of push it just a little too far.

Okay, ahah, funny.

Okay, pushing it a bit, but okay.

Okay seriously, did he really need to not say the word ass so everyone has to think of it, and then look down at Dean’s ass, obviously thinking of how he is supposed to fit in it, and Dean suddenly catching his thoughts, and then there is a way too long moment during which everyone in the room imagines how Cas could fit in Dean’s ass. And also well Bobby’s face is like the best thing to ever happen in the history of the world.

So yeah, they joke about it, but they push it way more than they need to. 

As for real canon things about their relationship, there are so many I can’t even begin to try to think of them all so I’ll just throw in a few that I have near.

First, it’s canon that everyone knows they like each other a little too much for their own good, and share something different that can’t really be explained.

Classics, but still. Friendly reminder that Meg and Cas did share a canon romantic interest. Just saying.

Second, do I really need to go over the whole Cas turning against everything he believed in just for Dean and basically giving him everything, and for what really?

Or Dean basically turning into a killing machine and spending months in purgatory only looking for Cas, who had basically abandoned him?

Now, I went over my different destiel tags and saw so many great posts analyzing so many different aspects of their relationships, but I don’t know where to start with that so let’s just look at how they look at each other or act with each other in general. Sometime I wonder if Jensen realizes how he makes it look. If it’s something between Jensen and Misha. If it’s intended or not. But I mean…

By the way I will never ever get over the purgatory hug like never. The way Cas looks down and frowns, and the way it lasts a little too long, how Cas doesn’t know what to do, and he doesn’t feel like he deserves this act of affection, and his hand cramping because he feels like he should be doing something, giving something back, but he can’t. THAT HUG.

So yeah basically this is about 1% of the reasons why Destiel is so popular and different and why it’s love.

According to the CDC, in 10 percent of those drownings, the adult will actually watch the child do it, having no idea it is happening. Drowning does not look like drowning—Dr. Pia, in an article in the Coast Guard’s On Scene magazine, described the Instinctive Drowning Response like this:

“Except in rare circumstances, drowning people are physiologically unable to call out for help. The respiratory system was designed for breathing. Speech is the secondary or overlaid function. Breathing must be fulfilled before speech occurs.

Drowning people’s mouths alternately sink below and reappear above the surface of the water. The mouths of drowning people are not above the surface of the water long enough for them to exhale, inhale, and call out for help. When the drowning people’s mouths are above the surface, they exhale and inhale quickly as their mouths start to sink below the surface of the water.

Drowning people cannot wave for help. Nature instinctively forces them to extend their arms laterally and press down on the water’s surface. Pressing down on the surface of the water permits drowning people to leverage their bodies so they can lift their mouths out of the water to breathe.

This doesn’t mean that a person that is yelling for help and thrashing isn’t in real trouble—they are experiencing aquatic distress. Not always present before the Instinctive Drowning Response, aquatic distress doesn’t last long—but unlike true drowning, these victims can still assist in their own rescue. They can grab lifelines, throw rings, etc.

Look for these other signs of drowning when persons are in the water:

Head low in the water, mouth at water level

Head tilted back with mouth open

Eyes glassy and empty, unable to focus

Eyes closed

Hair over forehead or eyes

Not using legs—vertical

Hyperventilating or gasping

Trying to swim in a particular direction but not making headway

Trying to roll over on the back

Appear to be climbing an invisible ladder

So if a crew member falls overboard and everything looks OK—don’t be too sure. Sometimes the most common indication that someone is drowning is that they don’t look like they’re drowning. They may just look like they are treading water and looking up at the deck. One way to be sure? Ask them, “Are you all right?” If they can answer at all—they probably are. If they return a blank stare, you may have less than 30 seconds to get to them. And parents—children playing in the water make noise. When they get quiet, you get to them and find out why.

I’ve been a lifeguard for 6 years now and of all the saves I’ve done, maybe two or three had people drowning in the stereotypical thrashing style. And even those, like the save I made last weekend, it was exactly like OP describes where the person’s head is going in and out of the water but it isn’t long enough to get any air. Mostly you recognize drowning by the look on someone’s face. If someone looks wide eyed and terrified or confused, chances are they’re drowning. That look of “oh shit” is pretty easily recognizable. And even if you can’t tell for sure: GO AFTER THEM ANYWAY. I’ve done “saves” where a kid was pretending to drown and I mistook it for real drowning, but that’s preferable to a kid ACTUALLY drowning.

Also please remember that even strong swimmers can drown if they have a medical emergency, get cramps, or get too tired. If your friend knows how to swim but they’re acting funny get them to land. And even if someone can respond when you ask them if they need help, if they say they do need help? GO HELP THEM.

However . If the victim is a stranger, I can’t recommend trying to get them. Lifeguards literally train to escape “attacks,” because people who are drowning can freak the fuck out and grab you and make YOU drown as well. If you do go in after someone, take hold of them from the back and talk to them the whole time. IF YOU ARE GRABBED: duck down into the water as low as you can get. The person is panicking and won’t want to go under water and should release you. Shove up at their hands and push them away from you as you duck under. Don’t die trying to save someone else.

It become more than obvious that you are killing Destiel, but can you do it without hurting Cas and without making Dean look more and more like an asshole, we don’t wanna hate him and only remember him as an abusive ungrateful dickhead.

Dear Destiel shippers and Cas fans:

I myself have been very vocal about how I feel about 14x18 but I haven’t really talked about how this is just another step in subverting destiel. Sadly I am very worried that this is our new normal that next season will be full of Dean pushing Cas away because obviously, they are too close. This has been going on for a while now. They have been taking destiel scenes and giving them to other characters in an attempt to remove the romantic aspect of those scenes. Even is season 13 when Dean was mourning Cas he couldn’t just mourn Cas he had to mourn Cas and his mother. It’s all a very systematic attack on the concept of destiel. I know about this attack in my head but after 14x18 I don’t even feel like shipping it despite that. 

I love destiel and I think it could be a great story the problem is the writers have now ruined it enough that I don’t really want to see it happen on screen. I can’t reconcile Cas being with someone who treats him this way. Dean and Cas don’t even have a friendship anymore much less a romantic relationship. This is all due to the writer’s systematic plan to kill destiel and it’s working. I feel like something has been stolen from me and I am mad about it. 

I am so worried that season 15 will be more and more of this just to make it perfectly clear that destiel doesn’t exist. I don’t want to see Cas treated this way and I don’t want my last impressions of his friendship with Dean to be scenes of emotional abuse like we are getting in 14x18. 

Not only these days, my friend, I’ve been denouncing the mistreatment of Cas and DeanCas for months now, @justanearth-boundmisfit , @magnificent-winged-beast , @flyingcatstiel and others can testify.

I don’t know if you were following my old blog @Destielette , but I’ve been speaking out against Spn writing of Cas and Destiel at least one year now in my old blog , on November my old blog get suddenly deactivated without any reason or explanation , I complained and complained to @support and never received a response .

When the adorable @magnificent-winged-beast made a post explaining the reason of my absence, she asked my ex followers to start follow me in my new blog @destielette1 , my current blog, my old blog had 12700 followers, only 800 of them had followed me after one month in my new blog !!!!

Most of the famous bloggers who were my mutuals and who I counted on to signal boost my posts and ask people to follow me , completely ignored my new blog and decided to not follow.

This didn’t really surprise me tbh, the attitude of most of the ‘famous’ ‘positive’ bloggers changed towards my old blog long before it get suspended.

It started with them criticizing my ‘negative’ posts towards the show, some of them blocked me, and finally most of them literally stopped liking and reblogging my posts, as if they had decided by common agreement to boycott me ( maybe have been passing the word).

But although they have largely decided to boycott my posts, they didn’t get the courage to unfollow me, maybe because me, on the other hand continued to like and reblog their posts, so maybe they needed me to keep boosting their posts, that’s why they didn’t unfollow, my blog was still useful back then to them .

Of course all of this changed immediately after I lost my blog, because with my blog I lost the 12700 followers that represented the only interest they had in my blog, not only they didn’t followed my new blog, but they never sent me a message to express their solidarity or show any compassion towards me after I lost my blog, nothing.

Of course there are some heartwarming exceptions, those are the ones who keep me in this site, but it was a devatstaitng experience for me these few past months because I discovered an ugly side of our fandom I didn’t know before.

So believe me , the main reason I lost so many followers and that I’m stuck at 1700 now is the fact that I’ve been exposing not only the way spn treats Cas and DeanCas but also the way they’ve been treating Misha these last years, like the fact he is no longer invited to the premieres or the official photo…etc

It’s true that most of the time I feel so alone in this fight that I feel like don Quixote, tilting at windmills, but this never stoped me of telling the truth or speaking out, and it won’t stop me, I will continue to use my ‘franc parler’ til my last breath, that’s me, yes i will still make you laugh with crack, cry with emotional gifsets and videos but I won’t shut up when they treat my favorite character and ship like shit.

I’d also like to say in the time we studied WWII in school, the history textbooks never mentioned him. I had never heard of the guy until I watched “The Imitation Game” which I 110% recommend you watch if you haven’t.Alan Turing was a blessing to humanity who saved (once again) 14 to 21 million lives, and he is left out of history because he was gay.
