with a mock gasp, dion hits her shoulder in a playful manner. ‘’ don’t ya know, you’re the only one i have eyes on?’’ he tries to act hurt, but dion isn’t able to help the smile that comes across his features. ‘’wanna head upstairs an’ have some fun?’’

     his response only made her roll her eyes playfully, a grin plastered on her face. “ come on. ” she moved aside from the door to let him in, a knowing look passing by her eyes towards him.

                   with her statement, the redhead couldn’t help herself but to slightly tilt her head for her to see the baby again. wow, she was really adorable with those chubby cheeks and big eyes identical to her mother. “why is she lookin’ at me like that? is she mad at me or something?”

     she watched the other grow soft in front of the baby, and toni could not help but smile genuinely towards the situation. “ she’s not. ” she replied, finger trying to get the attention of the baby but only its hand moved to grip her finger, baby still looking at celeste in utmost focus. “ babies are attracted to the color red and you’ve got a lot of it on your face. ” she explained, giggling.

“It’s just a matter of seconds – I don’t mind,” she insisted with a bright smile, still in the mindset of wanting to make it up for the other for just ditching her for the dance floor but she was easily distracted when their bodies flushed together. Her own hand lingered on her waist, already knowing by the tone of her voice that she had something mischievous in mind. “I’m listening,” she responded quietly, her gaze roaming the place as well until it got stuck on a group of guys so she subtly squeezed her waist in order for her to turn around. “ Those ? ”

     her face lingered from the other’s shoulder as she observed the males roaming around the dance floor in search for a female to talk to. “ yeah. ” she replied, body still swaying against luana, “ we need to look like we’re interested, right? ” she told the other, this time they were face to face. she started dancing a little bit with more energy but her eyes kept locked towards the advancing males. “ here they come. ” she let out, a grin on her face. “ let’s just let them buy us drinks and we can hide from them afterwards. ” 

     “ please be available. ” she pleaded towards the blonde, eyes cast down as she hoped for the answer. toni had just given her baby back to her parents after they had arrived from a vacation and it was toni’s first weekend without the hassle of taking care of a baby and she was in deep need of me time with a friend. “ i just want to do anything that doesn’t involve stress. please accompany me. ” ( @crickctxo )

     there was a reading meant to be done by the week after and toni had taken refuge in the campus library. although there were tables around the area, she had the open area for reading as it easily distracted at the slightest movement. and so, she had sat down at the corner between bookshelves where only a few people wandered unless they knew what they were looking for. a sudden movement made her look up and she smirked, she knew that height all too well. “ fancy seeing you here, heart. looking for inspiration? ” ( @williamcheart )

SHOOTING A TEXT to let her know that he was at the door, Dion stood with his hands behind his back and a knowing smirk over his features as he waited for the door to open. ‘’–Missed you a ton, princess.’’

    as soon as she received the text, she already opened the door to her sorority, immediately grinning, welcoming him already. “ how many women have you missed already, dion? ” she asked teasingly, a sly grin plastered on her face.

it didn’t happen all the time, but there were times delilah would be woken up by the sound of a baby crying, she didn’t mind it though. as she rolled over and stretched her arms she looked at her roommate with a smile. “don’t worry about it.” she waved her hand before pulling her hair into a ponytail. “anything i can help with?”

     toni felt really bad for waking her roommate up. it was one of the days she wished she could have a place to herself. “ thank you. ” relief settled in once the other had assured her that it was fine but felt guiltier when she saw delilah putting her hair up in a ponytail and that meant that she was getting up than going back to sleep. “ you really don’t have to. i feel super guilty as it is. ” she managed to release a shaky laugh, trying to defuse the situation she placed herself in.

Luana had always spent most of the night on the dance floor whenever she was out partying. She didn’t even need much to drink to be feeling like the life of the party but it could also be because she was a lightweight that she gained confidence with just one or two drinks in. However, she immediately turned around to face her when hearing the familiar voice. “ There you are ! ” A grin appeared on her lips, immediately placing her hands on her waist. “ The song was too good not to, sorry ! I’ll make up for it.  Wait – do you want a drink ? ”

     she swayed ever so conservatively as she had not drank so much drinks for her to dance like there was no tomorrow. toni could only laugh at her friend for apologizing, shaking her head to tell the other that it was fine. “ of course i’d love more drinks. but you seem to be enjoying the music already, what a shame to actually get you out of here! ” she yelled over the loud music, her hands slightly travelling from luana’s arms up to her shoulders. she leaned towards her friend, bodies close to each other, “ we could get some guys to do it for us. ” she whispered, eyes scanning the already crowded dance floor for a victim.

               the redhead was just on her way back to her room when a woman spoke, asking her to reach for the bib not too far from where she is. before she did, she took her time in looking at the woman; only for her glare to soften as soon as she had noticed the small baby in her arms. without further ado, celeste crouches down to pick up the small clothing, smiling softly as she hands it over to the brunette. “here ‘ya go.” she then fixes her bag’s strap on her shoulder, then smiled as soon as met the baby’s gaze. “what’s her name?”

     on other days, toni would not appreciate the stare the red head threw at her but then again, she was a holding a baby, she did not want to add more stress in her life today than it already did. but the change in celeste’s attitude made her feel better, toni smiling in gratitude for the other’s understanding of her situation. “ thanks. ” she replied, gingerly clutching the bib and gently placing it by brie’s chest. “ her name’s brie. ” she replied, smiling down towards the baby. “ she’s looking at you right now. ” she informed celeste as she watched her baby.

     toni was in a pickle right now. brie was being inattentive and hyper as of now, feeding her was moot. her current dilemma right now was a piece of bib on the ground and she could only stare at it in frustration as she had to pick it up but she needed to put brie down or risk bending down and dropping the baby. “ excuse me. ” she spoke to the redhead, being the nearest person in the vicinity. it was celeste and of course, she was not even sure if her request would be granted. “ is it okay for you to pick up that bib and hand it over to me? ” she asked meekly, totally apologetic for the trouble.      “ uh, excuse me. ” she started, clutching her book closer to her chest, hoping the blonde was in a good mood today and was not waiting for company. “ do you mind if i sit there? the place is packed and i really need to read my book. ” she asked, toes curling and uncurling in pure impatience.      toni walked briskly towards the dirt road to where rikkie was. she held the box of beer bottles tightly as if letting it go was not even an option. receiving a text from rikkie, the brunette immediately seized all activities and walked to the nearest convenience store. she knew that her friend would have probably have drinks already, but the more the merrier, right? and she definitely wanted rik to be merrier. “ hey. ” she called, raising the box of beer on her hand, “ got some more to spare? ” ( @rikkie-isms​ )

     “ shh, shh. ” toni whispered towards the baby as she kept on pacifying it. the loud cries resonated around the room and she took quick glances at delilah who was surprisingly still sleeping by her bed. “ come on, i’ve fed you, what’s wrong this time gabriella? ” she asked the baby as she rocked the small child in her arms, hand over the baby’s head. she could definitely take one more night of taking care of brie since her parents were coming down to get her again but this excessive crying had been terrible. perhaps the baby was homesick? she started to sing a lullaby with a soft voice and she was glad that somehow, the crying started to be less. “ sorry. ” she whispered towards her friend when she sensed her being awake. “ i really am. ” by this time, brie had seized crying and was slowly drifting to sleep. thomas was trailing behind toni, hardly listening to the woman and her ramblings. he was much more focused with grabbing items and stuffing them away where people weren’t going to even have the balls to check– essentially, in brie’s diaper and pack holster. having a baby actually made it that much easier to lift things from the store. “good girl, yeah, i’ll give you a couple,” he was whispering towards the infant as the male stuffed a second bag of peanut m&ms into her diaper, the blue-eyed girl’s tiny hands reaching down to play with the bag a bit. she was being carried in one of those baby backpacks but this one for the front. “huh?” thomas lifted his head in toni’s direction as she addressed him, quickly stuffing the candy bag out of sight in the diaper. “oh ya, yeah, i’m good, she’s having a ball.” the man shuffled forward to catch up with toni now. “you know what brie needs? a leather jacket, just like mine. she’d look badass.”

     toni noted to herself to make sure to check brie’s diapers later on, she was pretty sure that tom was shoving whatever they were eating in there again. it was tiring to clean the mess up, she also noted to make sure tom does the diapers next time so he would know the feeling. she continued moving the cart now that he was able to catch up, “ a leather jacket? ” she repeated, a no surfacing from the tip of her tongue but she needed to think that the baby was theirs and not hers, tom had much of a say than she did. “ well, if we can afford it... can we afford it? ” she had always tried to be mindful of using the word ‘we’ when brie was concerned, and she was grateful to even be able to have him help her out.
