The Tedbecca Of It All...

I don't think a certain pair of writers realise how badly they have fumbled here...

They've brought back the show for another Season and fixed the ending of S3 for Ted (and I saw a spoiler of something else they may have fixed that I'm happy about if true), but they will STILL be anti romantic Ted and Rebecca, because they hate joy and portraying healthy romantic relationships (They legit shut down Roy and Keeley too...we'll see if they'll fix that although what was the point in ruining it...oh as I said).

#ted x rebecca #does this even make any sense my thoughts are sort of all over #they can try and ignore it but the tedbecca of it all slips through #I'm tired of their holier than thou attitude over them #like do you want a medal for not putting a romantic pairing together? do you think it wouldn't be feminist or something?#(like they trying to girlboss keeley) because I can tell you right now you're not #I didn't forget the writing for your female characters in S3 (and 2)#and I'm worried about how they'll write an all women's team #like I remember bh's stupid Reddit q+a and I COULD partly see where he was getting at as I've not liked certain lead pairings #but I think with good writing...chemistry and taking a chance on a pairing as the vibe is just magnetically pulling into that romantic vibe #-and your characters are more than just a love interest...it works #like...in friends I despise ross and rachel while loving monica and chandler...who were friends and had a built up relationship #plus the writers went with the audience reaction and success!#same with shaw and root in poi IN A FREAKING TORTURE SCENE OF ALL THINGS #ending this rant here #anyways...I'm not getting my hopes up for them #we'll always have fics I guess (and there are so many wonderful ones)

So, I'm a couple days late, but I finally watched 4x01 of Ted Lasso...

• I can't believe they took 3 years to get Ted and his family to go live in Richmond like they should've in the S3 finale...vindication but also...it took them looking back to realise what we already knew...that Ted just making his entire life about Henry wouldn't be healthy. Well, that's one thing sorted, I guess...

• I like the good terms co-parenting Ted and Michelle have. It's great. I don't want them going backwards and putting them back together. Also, new Henry is great.

•Dottie Lasso I still don't like you. You helped drag Ted back 3 years and now you're changing your mind??? Ok...

• REBECCA WELTON, MY BELOVED! KEELEY MY BELOVED! HIGGINS MY BELOVED. TRIO! At least I know this trio will remain consistent. My loves.

•Rebecca being a dork, getting BBQ sauce down every outfit...no I will not read into anything about that too much because I don't think I can.

•Rebecca and HIM...

I cringed so hard at the sexy attempt. We need to free her from that man and his many red flags. CAN WE GET HER OUT OF THERE?!!!

•Ted and his little shrine (we won't talk about the evil green elephant in the room)...you were pining for your true home bud...can't believe you denied Rebecca's offer (AND GHOSTED HER. Sidenote, I think he ghosted Beard too and maybe he's the unhappy person in the next ep, just guessing).

• I am so nervous for how they'll write the womens team.

• IDC about js + bh's feelings about Tedbecca, their 1 on 1 interactions are buzzy no matter what! Rebecca still remains the only one who SEES HIM and they'll never be able to escape that. I have no hope of them happening because js and bh are cowards (YA BASIC).

Thoughts no one asked for that aren't really as insightful
