keep seeing posts on twt talking about tartah using the truth spell against coco as an allegory for sa and i see it was intentional that we saw lulucy’s backstory right before everything, because every time we see something about a side character it seems to loop back into the main characters story and themes. that’s my reading of it at least

yk what adding onto this, the empthasis that easthies puts on sexual assaulted getting their memories wiped & the guy turning out to be a brimmed hat really pushes the who SA allegory. The whole arc seems to be pretty on it too. From Lulucy, that brimmed hat. To the way Custas was keeping Dagda and others alive. The was the leech was sapping life force. Tartah to Coco. And this arc being Quifrey telling Coco about the silver tree… it’s all about other peoples will being forced on others.
