Idea for the 2nd fic finally coalesced outside my hind brain today.

It's 2079. V's been saved by the good folks at Langley, albeit at the cost of his chrome and two years of his life, and Kerry, unable to process the sudden news of his survival, panics and pulls the plug. V, having been abandoned by everyone he knew and loved (save a precious few) leaves Night City, taking up the life of a solo nomad, and vows to never let anyone get close to him again.

Returning from his Moon tour months later, Kerry realises what a gonk mistake he's made, and resolves to get V back, by whatever means possible. But where is he? How do you find a guy who doesn't want to be found? And what's a pampered rockerboy gonna do out there in the nuclear wilds? Kerry has to learn how to survive beyond the city limits if he ever hopes to be reunited with the love of his life.

And yes, before anyone says it, I'm sure someone else has already written this, but I wanna do it too, and you can't stop me.
