the deeper you learn about science and medicine, the more you get the idea that nutrition is the foundation of good health, and the majority of modern disease is inflicted by capitalist structures and fully preventable. but capitalist medicine is obsessed with getting a magnifying glass and finding something really specific to point at and fix with a $$$ pill. meanwhile, 5 separate domino effects are about to come from the pill fixing this one thing. but we need to keep increasing the birth rate and industrial farming and depleting everything of nutrients.
